Sherwood Forest Cabins - Forest Holidays

Comfortable, well presented and had all you needed for our stay.

Really poor wifi that constantly dropped out. Got sick of having log back in repeatedly. Also the condition of the driveway leading to and from the accommodation was really poor with potholes and an uneven surface making it a very uncomfortable ride.

Cabin was lovely and to a high standard and was very spacious with lots of room for our dog to relax. Hot tub was great. Nice and peaceful area. Staff were friendly. Very quiet and relaxing location if that's what you are looking for from a holiday.

Kitchen sink smelt badly. Not much cupboard space for provisions, there were plenty of cupboards but all full with crockery and cooking equipment. Could have done with more towels, only 1 hand towel per bedroom plus 2 bath sheets. No towel rail or loop in the ensuite bathroom so had to hang hand towel on shower door handle. Shower in ensuite wasn't very powerful felt like 20mins to wash and rinse hair. No lights on the road outside the lodge so pitch black taking the dog out at night, wish I'd packed a torch. Ordered pizza takeaway delivery to lodge on 1st night. Food was good but meal presentation was terrible. Chips and waffle fries thrown on top of pizzas, looked a mess. Onsite facilities very limited, I was surprised how little the shop was and wish I'd packed more provisions as we had to drive 2 miles to the nearest shops. Standard WiFi was poor, hardly had any internet the whole stay.

Location, the peace and quiet. Hot tub - fabulous!!

Oven was very dirty and had to put a meal in and the smell was sick. Didn’t use the oven again. Microwave was not so clean and had to give it a clean . The glasses and cups were not clean. The kitchen was very very disappointing. I purchased the movie package and dispute numerous attempts could not cast from my iPad or I phone. The bath water was not consistent. Kept going hot and cold. Gave up and just relied on lukewarm water warm shower
