La Parenthese - Charme & Coeur Historique

Lovely clean & quiet townhouse with roomy bedrooms, comfortable beds, and well stocked kitchen. Location was a little outside the center of Bayeux but the 15 minute walk wasn’t bad to get to restaurants and the supermarket. The value for our 2 nights stay in September was very good.

There was an European style electronic locking front door with keypad for entry. Getting in with our private code was fine, the issue was there was no instructions provided with the check-in instructions nor any guidebook inside the property on how to lock the door once inside nor how to lock the door when leaving the property. Simply entering the door code again on the outside panel does not relock the door. I requested instructions from the management company a couple times and nobody would send written instructions. I recommended a YouTube video link be included with the check-in info on how the door works. The only other issue is there is a narrow steep staircase to get up to the bedrooms and the upper portion railing is not very strong/secure. Getting heavy or large luggage up the stairs takes two people or extra care when using the railings.

Great location for all of the Day sites & a short walk to centre of Bayeux. Apartment was clean with everything you need. Beds are really comfortable.

The stairs are very steep!

This is a lovely property in a great location. Very quiet and just a short walk from the centre of Bayeux. It was very comfortable and the host was very helpful. Decor is lovely. Perfect location for visiting Bayeux and surrounding areas.

Ligging ten opzichte van het centrum.

Overlast door hangjongeren en de follow-up door de verhuurder. Loze beloftes.
