Staying at Santa Caterina was a lovely stay from start to finish. The host was great from the moment we booked. He sent us clear information about our stay by text, answered quickly every time we had a question, and gave us some really good local recommendations. Getting to our room was easy thanks to the automated check in. As soon as we opened the door, the room smelled wonderfully clean, everything was tidy, and there were some nice goodies waiting for us. The room is spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is huge. Breakfast was a highlight. Ileana was so friendly and made us feel very welcome, and the breakfast itself had everything you could want, including freshly baked cakes. A great base for visiting Bologna.
