A wonderful stay! The lodge was very clean, in a great location, and made it easy to get around. The host was incredibly thoughtful, friendly, and attentive, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Everything was well looked after, and I would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Nice location, nice walks & quiet
The “Warden” at number 4 was very unpleasant! Approached us leaning on our van against the drivers side door stopping me from getting out “ until I had answers” I explained our van goes in limp mode when revved to high, to avoid this was in gear 2 which is 7mph. Well… the rudeness & foul language from your “warden” was absolutely disgusting and totally unnecessary! We explained this to him and all we got was more foul language & aggression behaviour towards us both! When he finally left he shouted “ make sure your van is locked tonight”… This was very unpleasant as we had dogs in our van and with dog thefts etc it was very uneasy! All this was reported to the police and they were also shocked by the behaviour!
