Close to the beach but in the jungle. New joint bungalows. Needs a plumbing check (no back valve?) but if you close the door to the bathroom there is no problem. I enjoyed it being a little off side.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations by being a roomy, tastefully decorated and pleasant room and en-suite bathroom. We enjoyed the outside terrace and the peace and quiet set back 200m from the main road. Restaurants, travel offices and motorcycle hire were all within a 5 minute walk.

I stayed 5 nights to heal from a leg injury , very happy that I chose this place. The room is super cosy , I also work remote and the workspace was everything I could wish for , the bed and pillow - super comfortable , the bathroom is big and clean and even though the apartment is at ground level and in nature , bugs don’t really get inside.
The guy is super friendly and communication was easy , the view is absolutely healing with the gorgeous view and lovely little neighborhood. I could sit all day on this porch. It’s a 5 min walk to the street , so quiet throughout the day and night.

First impressions, we got early check in which was nice. The room was decent size and not moldy, however the bed was broken from the moment we walked in. I called the staff member 'Len' that lives in the first room and he came and adjusted the broken leg, then left. Soon after it collapsed again and my partner refused to sleep on that side of the bed.
I adjusted it and it seemed to not cause any more issues.
The sheets were clean, however the pillows were a bit high. Despite this, we slept well in this room and the AC is powerful enough.
A deal breaker for some will definitely be the mosquito infestation in the bathroom, there were hundreds per day that would renew every time we went out. I tried to block all the holes of where they could be coming from, yet they still found a way in, perhaps somehow they hatched there?
Strangely enough we did not get bitten in the main room and they all stayed in the bathroom.
If you don't like mosquitoes, you won't like staying here.
On the second day, we got back to our room hot and exhausted and just needed a shower. We found the water was completely shut off for some reason... Upon notifying Len, he went behind the building, turned the water back on, then came into the room and fiddled around with the toilet cistern for 10 minutes then left.
From then the toilet wouldn't flush unless you opened it and lifted the mechanism to allow the cistern to refill. Honestly, I think this room would be a nightmare unless you are handy and can fix these things youself or don't mind calling old mate Len over every time something goes wrong.
Anyway, we didn't mind the stay too much, solid 2.5 / 5.
Also, you can hear your neighbours very clearly, they can probably hear you as well.
