Santa Maria Novella Terraced Apartment

We were met on arrival exactly at the time arranged. The apartment is on the first floor above two of the quieter shops opposite the station. There is good security and an elevator. It is sufficiently central that we were able to visit all of Florence. We purchased a Firenze 72 hour city card and collected it from the tourist office near Santa Maria Novella church. Central Florence is quite small and we were able to walk to a good proportion of the 60 or so sites on the card. We were also able to get on a train and visit Pisa, Lucca and Cinque Terre, as was our plan. The apartment's location makes this possible. The rooms themselves are large, stylish and have a large stepping shower room which was wonderful. There is an extremely large terrace which is marvelous and incredibly rare to have, though we did under use it due to always being out. The bed was comfortable. There was some minor noise per the location but it was not excessive and we slept soundly every night with no problems.

Cooker not working. No bins made in kitchen or main bathroom. Couldn’t get hold of hosts when locked out in the evening after not being shown to get in with keypad. Streak marks all over surfaces. Single bed not made up. No extra sheets-pillows.
