A stone's throw from the Cupola

We absolutely loved this apartment with a view of the Duomo! It was close and within walking distance to all our tours which made it super convenient. Our host went above and beyond to help us retrieve an item left behind and helped us ship it home. We are very grateful. Highly recommend this apartment.

The property was as promised, perfectly located just a short half block from the Duomo piazza & the elevator was essential as the apt is on the fifth floor. Grocery shopping & amenities were all nearby. The host kindly left a bottle of Prosecco & qt of milk on arrival. We did have a few problems however. The cleaner who oriented us to the property didn't explain the operation of the oven, dishwasher or washing machine to us. We had difficulty closing a couple of windows once opened, contacted the host & she sent someone to close them. However, we dared not open them again for fear they wouldn't close. The WiFi & hot water were erratic, the lighting in the living room & kitchen inadequate, the towel warmer in the main bathroom wasn't working. We requested instructions for the operation of the oven & towel warmer but did not receive them. There were no accessible electrical outlets in the second bedroom, necessitating charging devices in the living room. The front door lock mechanism was loose & we had difficulty gaining access on one occasion. There were minimal cleaning supplies provided for us to tidy the bathrooms throughout our two week stay. On day 10 the host sent someone to change the sheets/towels while we were out but we were not given advance notice which was unsettling. There was loud street noise from the front bedroom( not the host's fault) but we brought a noise machine which helped. We only needed to use the air conditioning once & it worked well.
