Large, bright apartment with attic located in the historic center of Florence in a characteristic building of the 1200's five minutes from the Santa Maria Novella railway station a few steps from the Duomo and the characteristic Ponte Vecchio. Silent. Bright apartment on the third floor with parquet floors and exposed beams on the ceiling that give the apartment charm and style. The large fireplace in the room creates atmosphere. It has two bathrooms, one of which has a hydromassage bath and shower, finely finished. Large modern kitchen perfectly equipped with dishwasher and oven. TV led. Laundry room with washing machine, clothes dryer, iron and ironing board.

Our family had a great stay in Florence. The home was great. It was clean and in a great area. Walkable to great restaurants, attractions and shopping. My kids LOVED the home! There were fun activities for them in the house. The main bedroom did not have air conditioning and there was no elevator. The apartment was on the 3rd floor. The stairs to the second floor loft were very steep as well. The home was comfortable and Fabrizio was wonderful. He met us at the apartment and walked me through the house rules. He was very responsive with communication as well.

Our family of 4 adults enjoyed the cool and funky space to rest after long days exploring the beautiful, historic city and nearby countryside. Sofia was very responsive and helpful and, upon arrival, Fabrizio met us at the door to show us the apartment. Thank you!

This beautiful apartment is a short walk from the train station. We met Sofia very briefly, and then were checked in by Fabrizio who was kind, helpful, and quickly responded to a question we had the next day.My wife and 4 kids all enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend staying here, and if we ever came back with a group/family of 4-6, we would certainly stay here again!

I booked this property because of its proximity (around the block) from the train station Firenze SMN. What I did not expect was that the location was on a vibrant street in the historic area of Florence. It was completely walkable. 10 minutes to the Duomo and 18 min to the Uffizi. Property is well described on the website. Don't be alarmed by the stairwell, which is not in the best condition - the apartment is great. Large, clean and full of character. The upstairs bathroom has a really low ceiling and my kids ended up using our bathroom downstairs. The downstairs bathroom is great. Kitchen is well appointed. We arrived by train at about 7:40 PM and there was an extra charge for "late check in." Keep this in mind while planning. I would absolutely stay here again.

This apartment is on the best street in Firenze! Each night after dinner we would take a stroll around the gorgeous duomo and enjoy the vibrant nightlife of all the restaurants, cafes, and fun happening on our street. The apartment is exactly as described and was perfect for us. It is up stairs, but that was noted in the description, and a well known feature in many Italian homes. We were prepared for it and packed light! Literally everything you need is within walking distance. We found it so easy to hop on the train for day trips (LOVE Modena, Parma, Siena, and Lucca), and spent several days walking Florence, taking in the sights. If you are not walking through Florence you are missing out, and Sonia’s apartment is in the perfect location for it all. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Sonia, thanks for your hospitality. We absolutely fell in love with Florence and couldn’t have picked a better location to stay at than Via Faenza!

I have to say this apartment was even prettier and roomier than the photos! Beware it is on the fourth floor but the hosts carried my bag up for me which was very kind! The apartment had everything I needed and was super convenient to the sights and the train station! Restaurants close by were plentiful as well as shopping of all kinds.I really enjoyed my stay under the roof of Sofia!

Like they say for real estate, location, location, location. This is a great spot, only a couple blocks from the train station and walkable to many of the attractions. It's near the busy markets but just far enough away to be in a quiet space. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable. The upstairs steps take a bit to gets used to, but are useable even by us older folks. The upper bath ceilings are low, making the spacious lower bathroom more popular. The shower is fairly small but works well. We didn't do any cooking there, but it seemed to be well equipped. I would stay at this location again if visit Firenze again.

Super fun, quirky apartment in a quiet building not far from the train station. The duomo is a short walk away and the neighborhood has lots of restaurants. Host is very thoughtful and the communication is great. Be advised there is no elevator, which is very common.

We had a great time in Florence and the apartment was great. The upstairs is more set up for 4 children with 2 sets of 2 twin beds in the loft area. That was a little challenging for the taller adults that were staying there. We had to walk bent over to not hit the sloped roof and the bathroom up there was even shorter, we had to bend almost in half, but we are over 6 feet tall! There is only one bedroom in the downstairs part that has privacy. The other bedroom is in the front where you walk into the apartment, down the hall from the living area and open to all. I think a door could be put in to separate it so at least there is some privacy. We had a great time there and would definitely come back again.

The location of this stay was wonderful. It was a very cute place it worked well for our group of 5 adults. No major concerns but there a few things to keep in mind - there is no elevator which is not unusual for Italy. You must carry your luggage up several flights of stairs. There is air conditioning in the loft bedroom and main living area but not in the first floor bedroom. This made staying in the loft bedroom very comfortable for sleeping. You must be agile to climb the ladder to the loft where the second bedroom and pull out couch are located. The ceiling is very low and you must crouch down in the upper bathroom. The showers are small. We are young adults so it was fine for us, but perhaps consider keeping to the first floor bedroom if you aren’t comfortable with ladders. Overall good stay. We loved Florence and again the location is unbeatable. Sofia was a spectacular host.

This apartment is ideal for families with children. However it was challenging when it was two individuals. The upstairs bathroom is not adult friendly and the stairs to the loft are only really suitable for children, but they would have a ball in their own space. Self catering was a breeze as the kitchen was well appointed with a full size fridge that held a weeks groceries, but small touches such as toiletries were missing. Also a large number of things were broken and needed fixing. A window, a mirror, a shower head, two electrical sockets etc. Overall an enjoyable stay.

The apartment is bigger than my house and spotlessly clean. Many windows allow for a beautiful breeze and fresh air. It was open, warm and comfortable. The location could not be better, in the middle of everything but quiet nights. The host was a pleasure and so easy to deal with. We highly recommend this wonderful apartment. In fact, we wish we were there right now.

We couldn’t have asked for a better location and place to tour from. Literally 5 minutes walk but worlds away from the train station, and plenty of coffee shops, groceries and restaurants within a couple blocks. We were able to easily walk to all attractions and beat the crowds daily. Recommend the Crown of India restaurant right on the street. Communication with the VRBO host was prompt and friendly. We had no problems.

This was our favourite property we stayed on our Italy adventure! Sofia ( host) was amazing! A booklet printed out to go over house rules, restaurants etc was so helpful! Space was clean, spacious and perfectly located! Easy to get to train station, walking distance to everywhere. Would absolutely recommend staying here, and we would love to return one day! If you plan to visit Florence on foot, you cannot beat this location. Very central and only a few minutes walk to the central market where you can enjoy a great breakfast or lunch. The train station is also very close. Many good restaurants are within walking distance (make reservations). The appartement was spacious, clean and well equipped. Communications with the host was great and they are quick to respond to any questions. They went out of there way to return an item we had forgotten at the appartement. Could not have asked for a better experience and better hosts. Highly recommend. Thanks again.

Sofia was an amazing host! The apartment was so warm and inviting and had everything we needed to feel at home. The location was perfect and close to many sightseeing opportunities, restaurants and pubs. I have to comment that more importantly, what Sofia did as a host, showed me how kind and caring she was as a person. I unfortunately broke my ankle a few days before arriving to her VRBO. She arranged for a an Orthopedic doctor to make a house call to me!! This was a friend of hers and she said he would come see me! Sofia met the doctor at our VRBO with me so to insure the communication was good. Any host that would go to that effort for one of her guests is a great host in my book. If I ever find myself back in Florence, I'll be sure to book this one again! I can not say enough kind words about my experience with Sofia and with her lovely apartment! Highly recommend!
