Franciske was a super host, ensuring I felt very welcome and comfortable. Her many personal touches show she genuinely cares about her guests.

Good location and very quiet

What stood out most was the private, secure covered garage parking, which made access easy and gave real peace of mind. The private side entrance also added a nice sense of independence and convenience. The room itself was very cozy, with reliable WiFi and a clean, well-maintained bathroom that felt fresh and hygienic. It was exactly what I needed for a comfortable overnight stay while passing through the Karoo. The host, Franciske, was very welcoming and attentive, clearly putting a lot of care into the guest experience. Overall, it felt warm, safe, and thoughtfully put together, and I would gladly stay there again when passing through Fraserburg.

There wasn’t much to dislike about the property itself. If anything, it’s more a reflection of the surrounding area than the accommodation. Access to the town is mostly via gravel roads, with limited tarred routes available. That said, the roads were generally well maintained and easy enough to navigate. I visited shortly after rainfall, so conditions may have been a bit worse than usual, and it wouldn’t be fair to judge it too harshly based on that timing.

Quiet & simple. Had all the basic essentials.

Small Karoo town. Almost like an Air BnB. No major expectations to judge it by.
