Value for money. Spacious, comfortable,homely. Spacious bedrooms, each with electric blankets which made a huge difference. Two separate lounges each with fireplace. Two bathrooms each with a shower, which makes a big difference when you’re travelling with three teens and need to get going in the morning. The house itself was one of the highlights of a brief stay. Place was cheap , so I was a bit sceptical.
Not much. Faulty electrical kettle, but we didn’t mind the old School kettle.

The location is great. The bed was comfortable and the duvet was just super warm for the cold in Sutherland. Didn't even need the electric blanket.

We had the entire house to ourselves. It was very nostalgic inducing. The outside area is very cozy.
There were flies everywhere (dead and alive). It was so bad that we had to apply Tabard to keep them off us at night. It seems they might have a pest problem as there are also an insane amount of mouse/rat droppings on the back porch.
