What a gem of a countryside house! Clean, neat, beautifully maintained and really lovely. Felt just like my grandparents' Karoo house of yesteryear. I suspect the best Sutherland accommodation you will find. Could not recommend highly enough

Nothing

I loved everything about this place. Great location, massive property and the house is wonderful. Its big, love the vintage feel to it, with a victorian style touch. We felt like we were on holiday. The house caters for a winter stay, which is awesome. The braai area became our afternoon hang out, as we soaked up the sun. Would be nice to have a couch there. We also had a self check in and that went smoothly. I had access to both Janine and Anneline, if i needed anything.. and then I meet Anneline, on the day we checked out, what a beautiful lady. It was lovely to meet her before we left. We had a wonderful chat and learnt a few things from her about the town and its people.. God-willing, i will return and choose this house again. It can sleep up to 10 people and we were only 3 🤭 I highly recommend Die Prokureurshuis...

I dont have any critics about the place but the pans, definitely needs replacing. We struggled a bit with them when cooking

We had the entire house to ourselves. It was very nostalgic inducing. The outside area is very cozy.

There were flies everywhere (dead and alive). It was so bad that we had to apply Tabard to keep them off us at night. It seems they might have a pest problem as there are also an insane amount of mouse/rat droppings on the back porch.
