We stayed in the original farmhouse which is now 220 years old.
It was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations.
There is a lovely braai facility and a gas heater for the cold evenings.
My only suggestion would be to replace the old ball and claw bath with a shower.
That however is purely a matter of preference and does not detract from an amazing stay.

Old-world charm with modern comforts, quiet surroundings to be able to appreciate nature (bees buzzing around during day, birdlife during day and at night), ample opportunity for hiking and mountain biking to explore property and surrounding areas, very friendly and accommodating hosts, gravel road in town and friendly people.
