About this cottage rental
Birch Cottage is a blissful bolthole on the North Wales Border and sleeps up to six. Inside, spacious bedrooms and a large kitchen ensure complete comfort. Outdoors, a garden with a small patio allows you to make the most of any warmer weather, or to let your four-legged friends stretch their legs.
Ground floor

On the ground floor, the heart of the home is a large open-plan living area comprising a kitchen and sitting room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you'll need during your stay, including a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, American-style fridge freezer, and a large farmhouse dining table. Through the kitchen, you'll find a cosy seating area.
Snug
A cosy snug serves as a second sitting area, with various board games, comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and beautiful original features.
Utility Room
Convenient for longer stays, a utility room houses a sink, washing machine and dryer.
Cloak Room
A ground-floor cloak room adds an extra element of convenience and space to your stay.

Upstairs, bedroom one is a welcoming and comfortable option with a superking bed and a cosy armchair.
Bedroom 2
Bedroom two is equipped with a double bed, a convenient clothes storage rail, and dual-aspect windows which will allow you to admire the countryside views.

A third, more compact double bedroom offers welcoming decor and furniture, including a chest of drawers and storage cupboard, allowing you to unpack and unwind.

Designed to accommodate up to six people, Cherry Cottage features a large parking area for up to three big cars. Guests can enjoy a large communal south-facing lawn at the front, and a private garden with patio at the rear.
The Local Area
Birch Cottage is a homely haven for those seeking a relaxing trip in rural North Wales. Surrounded by charming country pubs and rolling green fields, it's the ultimate escape for families bringing along their four-legged friends. On your doorstep, the historic city of Wrexham (and home to Wrexham AFC) is just two miles away and is alive with a choice of restaurants, shops and tours.
There are also several enchanting National Trust properties nearby, including Erddig Hall and Chirk Castle, which both have expansive grounds that welcome dog walks. Llangollen is a must-do for a day out, known for its plethora of independent shops, river-based watersports available on tap and a scenic canal route leading to the awe-inspiring (and knee-weakening) Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
Should you want a night off from cooking up a feast in your well-equipped kitchen, there are plenty of local restaurants to choose from, with some of our favourites including the Pant-yr-Ochain, The Boat Inn at Erbistock, Lisbon Tapas Restaurant and Hickory's Smokehouse.
