Shibuya Hotel 502

Location is good even the distance form Shibuya station is quite far, but the walk is not that bad. Apartment looked fairly recently renovated on inside. Fridge was good size and trash bins were big enough. Washing machine for clothes was available on balcony and we used it twice. Near by is a grocery store Maruetsu petit that is big enough for all daily needs. Near also coin laundry in which can dry clothing.

Caveat on the distance and the route to the place from station is hard with luggage. Lot of uphill and also paved stones making it hard to pull luggage. With single light carry-on it is workable. In the renovation made in apartment they forgot a sink/washing basin from bathroom/toilet so you have to go after toilet to kitchen to wash your hands. Also this meant that I had to shave next to the kitchen sink. This was inconvenient and I did not like it. Kitchen table was a bit tilting and rocking. Not sure if legs are uneven or floor not straight. There was some moisture feeling and kind of bathroom odor too. I did not see any mold or detected direct mold smell.

This apartment was located a convenient 12 minutes from Shibuya Crossing and 15 minutes from Parco, the area was quiet and so was the room. There was a 7-11 about 2 minutes away and a smaller grocery store Maruetsu Petit about 4 minutes away. The apartment included a fully stocked shower (shampoo, conditioner and body wash, plus the shower was quite larger than I thought it would be) and bathroom with a bidet/toilet combo and heated seat, plus a kitchen with a stove, microwave, and fridge with a freezer. There was even an extra trash bin on the balcony patio which was useful since I was here for eight days. There was AC in both rooms which made it very comfortable. Lastly, the host was very responsive when I did have questions!

This has nothing to do with the apartment itself, but letting the taller/bigger people know that apartments are smaller than you think. I'm 6'2", 252lbs and had to duck when entering each room and the apartment itself. The bathroom is a bit of a tight squeeze but it worked out just fine in the end. The elevator is also small, so you may need to make a couple of trips if you have a a larger number of members with you and luggage (took two trips splitting 5 family members with 7 luggage).

Location was nearby to Shibuya

The property was not clean had stench, it was very compact - ok for 2 but not for 4.
