The apartment was spotlessly clean. The facilities were excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen included tea, coffee, biscuits and coffee pods and the property owner put milk in the fridge for me.
I felt very secure in the property in the night.
This is not a reflection on the property, or the owner, however I would say that the street lighting in the surrounding areas was not good at all. I was at the Harrogate book festival which was a 20 minute walk away and on my return late at night it was very, very dark. Again, this is not a reflection on the accommodation, but something to be mindful of if you are not planning on driving or taking a taxi when it is dark.

Very thoughtfully decorated. Andrew is extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. Allowed me to use the washing machine in the flat below as I was staying for two weeks and this property doesn’t have a washing machine which saved me a trip to the laundrette! And was always on hand if I needed anything. Also changed bedding / towels half way through my stay.
I found it too noisy, the bedroom is opposite a busy junction.
There is some ongoing construction opposite the kitchen / living area which was very disruptive for me as I was working from the property during the day and I was there a while. It did stop around 5pm so if you’re out sightseeing you won’t notice it. However, I wish this had been communicated as I would not have booked! Andrew did agree to a refund of around 13% of the original cost which was very appreciated.

Great property. Very comfortable warm and cosy. Excellent decor and spotlessly clean. Well thought out facilities. Good location on a bus route into the centre of Harrogate. Some nice restaurants close by too. Easy parking on nearby street. Nice welcome goodies. Friendly host.
