The Green House deluxe 2 bedroom upper floor apartments

The flat was very well located right in the middle of Harrogate. Parking was easy in an allocated space. There was a lift to access the second floor. The flat was comfortable and spacious. The heating was easy to use and the flat warmed up very quickly. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. There were two clean and comfortable bathrooms with good showers.

The double bedroom had a shelf instead of a headboard which made sitting up in bed almost impossible. Also there were no bedside tables in that room. Access to the flat was a little complex as you need to remember three 4 digit codes.

The property was furnished to a high level for basic needs. It had everything you needed in the bedrooms, bathroom and lounge. In the kitchen you have the dishwasher, washing machine, cooker and fridge. The heating was good. The internet was ok but crashed a bit and was slow. Tv was good with a variety of channels. They supplied some items of stuff. The staff rang before we stayed to check we had received all details and were lovely. All details were very helpful. Great location - 5-10 mins walk into town. Not bad extra parking on road.

They say they have tea and coffee etc but only enough for a few nights and we stayed for 8 nights and there was 4 of us so there was no where near enough so this meant we had to go out and buy packets. There was no cleaning spray or products which we had to go out and buy. They did provide us with washing up liquid, 1 t- towel, 3 washing tablets, 3 dish washer tablets and 3 toilet rolls but the 3 toilets rolls were no where near enough for 4 people for 8 days so we had to go out and buy more. They cleaned the property superficially but there had not been a deep clean in the apartment for a long time. The beds had not been moved and hovered behind or under and you can clearly tell, its disgusting under there….. There was a used towel under one bed, tissues etc. The beds are not comfy at all. If staying bring a topper.

Location was brilliant - only about 15 mins walk into the heart of Harrogate and 5-7 mins to a Sainsbury Local. All necessities supplied in flat, central heating mostly worked well, sofas and beds were comfy, shower was far better than expected, and the flat was very clean. All furniture and appliances in excellent condition.

The radiator in one bedroom only worked once so the room was always cold. The light illuminating the passageway to go downstairs was on a timer and would turn off about 1 second after being pressed. Consequently, we always needed a torch to exit the flat at night. WiFi stopped working properly midway through our stay.

Great location, lovely flat and was very well equipped.
