Nice location, friendly staff, comfortable room, good dinner, good price
Hotel is slightly tired, not a problem for me. Breakfast not available till 9am, so I had the continental option, a box left outside my room. Not great.

Lovely village location but still close to town
Not the pubs fault, but the church bells ringing every hour make it difficult to sleep with the windows open

The breakfast was a little chaotic. First day it was as well we did not want a cooked breakfast as there was none. Second day was poor service, the "waiter" didn't seem to know what he was doing, we had to ask for a knife, individual plates never arrived - we ended eating off the service plates.
Breakfast was only from 9am so no early starts. Check in was supposed to be from 3. We arrived at 3.45 and the place was locked up with a notice saying "back at 5.30". Fortunately the manager arrived showed up 10 mins after we arrived.
