The Paris Hotel

This little hotel is very well located on the SWCP and has a lovely beer garden to sit in the sun at the end of a hard days walk. The dinner was also very good. Our room was small but expected given the buildings age. It was recently renovated and was clean and functional

Excellent scrambled eggs, and prompt friendly service at breakfast. Beautiful views from the dining room. Lovely comfortable bedroom with those views again. Powerful shower, good quality towels. Everything I needed. Would have loved to stay longer!

View was great. Room was small but comfortable. Staff were hospitable and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

I don't want to appear critical, but hopefully my comments will be helpful for both potential customers and the hotel owners. Our room was very small - so small that there was no room for chairs. Television was excellent size, but unfortunately live programmes were unavailable. We asked staff for help but were told that we could only watch programmes through the apps - BBC and ITV etc catch-up, Netflix or YouTube etc, so we couldn't watch any of the normal aired programmes such as BBC Breakfast, the news or weather forecasts. The TV was positioned fairly high up, and the room being so small we had to sit on the beds, close-up and looking upwards - rather uncomfortable viewing! We were staying for two nights, and on our first morning there was NO hot water - obviously a fault in the system which I'm pleased to say was rectified for the second day - staff were very apologetic. Unfortunately there were lots of flies in the dining room - I'm sure a simple spray could alleviate the problem. So as I said earlier I hope my comments, both positive and less so will be helpful for everyone.
