About this apartment rental
A compact apartment on the corner of Guildhall Street and College Lane where you’d find the door opening directly into a small hallway with the living/kitchen/dining room to the right, bedroom to the left, and shower room ahead of you. Hard flooring runs throughout.
LIVING/KITCHEN/DINING ROOM
Good use has been made of the space in this room with smart kitchen units running along one wall housing an electric Bosch oven with four ring hob and extractor, a washer/dryer, an under-counter fridge with freezer compartment, a toaster and a kettle.
The comfy sofa is positioned so you can watch the TV and there’s a coffee table, as well as a compact dining set with table and two chairs so you can cater at home, or enjoy a take-away from one of the local businesses.
BEDROOM
The double bed sits between bedside units and there’s additional storage in a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The sofa (previously mentioned) is actually a sofa bed so, if you’d rather not share this bed, you could bring your own bedding (not provided). However, the flat is only available and insured for two guests due to its size.
SHOWER ROOM
A chic modern room with a good sized corner cubicle where there’s a rain shower-head, a WC, wash basin with a vanity unit, and a heated towel rail (towels are provided).
LOCATION
The apartment is an easy walk from the city centre on the corner of Guildhall Street and College Lane (hence the name!) with a pub across the road and all the historic buildings, restaurants, shops and attractions on the close by.
The pretty Guildhall (just up the road), dating back to 1279, is the oldest continuously used civic building in Britain and is open to the public for a range of fascinating exhibitions throughout the year, so do check the dates on the website before booking. It proudly boasts a World War Two Royal Observer Corps Control Centre which is well worth a visit and has some concerts.
There’s restricted parking on Guildhall Street (Ringo location 54408), Charges apply during the day and there’s unrestricted parking from 6pm to 8am. Alternatively, there's parking at Waitrose IP33 3DH but please check their terms and conditions. There's also a large car park behind the cinema.
Whilst this is on the ground floor, there is a step down into the living room and space is a quite tight so could be suited to someone with a mobility issue but not for for wheelchairs.
