Stylish Town House in Medieval Grid

My husband and I recently stayed 2 nights here and were most appreciative of this beautiful and conveniently situated cottage. We found it very comfortable and attractive. Most importantly we were very impressed by the owner Sue’s kindness when I had to call and request that we arrive early as my husband had become very unwell when we arrived at the railway station. Even though the house is close by, my husband was experiencing bad sciatica and was not able to walk. Sue offered to come and collect us when she was very busy with other commitments and battled the city one way system in school holiday time to reach us and help us to her property. This act of kindness and support was much appreciated at a difficult time for us both. On arriving at the house, her partner also assisted my husband in getting out of the car and into a very comfortable sofa. Unfortunately we were not able to attend a family gathering in town that evening. On account of my husband’s worsening condition, we had to lie low and contact NHS 111. The interior was perfect for this : comfortable, clean and quiet. The interior sunny courtyard very much appreciated too. Returning from A & E services at 1 am, we were very glad to be comfortable in this charmingly furnished house. Only wished we could have stayed longer and in easier circumstances to benefit more from its many advantages. Thank you again Sue.

Lovely feel to the house and was cool in a very warm spell of weather. Close proximity to restaurants and places of interest but quiet at night. Lovely.
