Nice place for a 1-3 day stay

The location was wonderful. The lighting throughout the 'apartment' were good except the lack of a reading light near the couch. The view of the Cathedral and hearing all the church bells was marvelous. Really appreciated the lights along the stairs and the automatic lights in the kitchen.

1. The kitchen eating area was tiny. There is hardly any counter space for preparing food or cabinet space for storing food. 2. When are family came to visit, they had to sit on the floor or entry stairs when having a cup of tea as there is only a small round table and two chairs in the snug kitchen. 3. The glass shower door doesn't prevent water from spraying out into the bathroom unless you are super careful. 4. The bathroom was cold on most of the days we were there. To heat it up, we had to keep the bathroom door open to get the residual heat from downstairs.

Good for a 1-2 night stay

The location was excellent. The view of the Cathedral from the bedroom.

It was a little too small. There was hardly any counter space or space for groceries. It was impossible to fit more than two people into the kitchen - no having friends/family over for tea. The neighbors randomly walked past the kitchen. I was glad to have been clad when that occurred.

The apartment is amazing. Everything you might need for a break. Beautifully decorated. Spotlessly clean. The owners are so helpful, on hand but not intrusive. Would definitely recommend. Will be back again.

Just an amazing little loft in a great area!!

The location is amazing, central but tucked away for quiet nights sleep. The loft was well decorated and updated making for a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were high quality which made for a good nights sleep as well.

Delightfully comfortable

The location was perfect and the facilities wonderful. I met Claire when she kindly met me after considerable delay due to a faulty train and she was lovely.

Beautifulyl positioned, sympathetically restored. Very stylish interior decoration that complemented the accommodation. Lighting superb, everything you could want for an enjoyable stay in the beautiful Bury St Edmunds. Close to fantastic restaurants, coffee shops and cocktail bars. Immaculately clean. Lovely touches.

Beautifully appointed, and in an amazing location. The apartment was stunning, clean and very comfortable. We loved the design and it was wonderful to see the church from our bedroom window. A real gem!

Lovely stay, beautiful location.

It's a beautiful location and for such an old building its facilities and style of the loft really compliment it. The place was very clean and had amazing cooking equipment with a fridge and freezer allowing us to cook here, the heating as well as the fan are great depending on the preference and the water pressure is surprisingly fantastic. There was plenty of space to hang our clothes and the view was perfect. Checkout time is extremely reasonable too. Felt like our own little home for a couple days in a breath taking location. As a younger couple we really enjoyed it and it was lovely to get away for a few days. The hosts were fantastic and gave amazing directions which really helped in their emails.

Not so much didnt like but would be amazing to have a vanity somewhere in the room would go perfect with the decor of the room as well as very helpful although with the space in the room understandable there isn't one. For me the bed was a little hard but that's just personal preference, my partner found it comfortable.

Only that it is not suitable for those with restricted mobility, which unfortunately we were not aware of and my husband declined after booking. Perfect for fit couples.

Perfect location to explore Bury

Great location, unique features, good shower pressure! Quiet most of the time, you do get bells every hour and on the Sunday but if you don’t want to hear bells don’t stay near a church! It had everything we needed (and more) for a few days.

Nothing really, if parking had been on site that would have been beneficial but it was expected and many of these historical locations will have parking challenges.

Iconic luxury in the centre of a beautiful and important market town.

The location was fantastic, the property, although small, was exquisite and cleverly laid out, providing every convenience. The secure car park was a short walk away but luggage could be off-loaded outside the property. My neice met the owners outside the property and they are apparently "lovely"! Ideal for a single or couple who wish to explore the delights of this wonderful town. We took 2 dogs and they loved the place as well. The complementary dog treats and bottle of wine were greatly appreciated.

It would be very difficult for persons with physical disabilities but this is a very old property and would be almost impossible to make it more accessible.

Great place for a chill out break.

The let was in a central location, easy to find and beautifully designed. In a quiet location with easy access to places of interest. The kitchen met all our needs and the bedroom and bathroom were excellent.
