Lovely town

Excellent location in the centre of a lovely town,a few.minutes walk from everything.the flat was very nicely decorated and had two bottles of beer in the fridge when we arrived. Excellent heating and nice and cosy in the lounge and hallway.very quiet at night.Within a short drive of lovely villages such as Lavenham.

Summer duvet on the bed that was reaching the end of its natural life.single glazed throughout and no source of heating in the bedroom with only an extremely thin blanket in the bottom of the wardrode to place on top of the bed. Went to bed cold the first night,(despite leaving the door open to try and get some heat from the hall radiator )woke up in the middle of the night cold.second night repeated the process,though ,having looked at the night time temp for the area on the second night ,it was supposed to be 8 degrees.it could not have been any warmer inside.if we could have lifted the bed into the lounge it would have been fine. The mattress itself was very comfortable. Would give it 10/10 if staying when warm.

Central, comfortable apartment with character.

Location great, close to cathedral and abbey gardens, lots of shops and places to eat close by. All facilities were present, though we didn't cook or wash clothes. Good shower, lovely soft towels always plenty of hot water. Pint of milk provided to start us off.

Unfortunately TV stopped working for our second and third days. Phoned owner, but nothing happened so guess she couldn't get it fixed or replaced. WiFi struggled to show TV on my tablet. Needed instructions how to use coffee machine-- looked online but lots of different ones; so couldn't use pods provided.

Apartment was lovely and spotless. Car parking was available nearby, 5 minute walk for long stay at £9 a week 😀 Facilities in the apartment were more than we actually needed eg Washing machine and dishwasher were untouched.

Location excellent. Attractive living room, well appointed kitchen area, looking straight out onto cathedral wall across the street. Everything you needed.

Bedroom and bathroom a bit tight, walk in shower would be easier. Internet TV difficult to use and only BBC channels live ,--- this should be mentioned by B D C.

There's nothing to not like about this little apartment. We had such a lovely time. It was spotless, The bed is super comfortable and the location is great! Would 100% recommend anyone to stay here. 10/10

A cosy escape for couples!

A lovely, peaceful spot hidden away in the city centre! You have the apartment all to yourself with all the necessities for cooking during your stay (oven, microwave, utensils, oils etc.) or a great high street just around the corner if you'd rather dine out! The apartment was cosy and perfect for a couple seeking a weekend getaway, highly recommend! For anyone whose travelling via train it was an easy and fairly short walk (20-30mins) and if you're visiting the Bannatyne Spa it's also around a 30min walk from the apartment! The host Joanna is also friendly and easy to communicate with. We had to give her a quick call when we got confused on using the lockbox and she was very polite and helpful with solving the problem (for reference we were being idiots and misread the code, there was no fault with the lockbox!) Overall a great location and great little apartment that we'd love to return to if we visit Bury St Edmunds again! P.S. Plenty of vegan options amongst the high street restaurants -- I'd recommend DOUGH&co for some delicious woodfired pizza!

The apartment was very central to the town, Abbey & Cathedral. I loved all the little extra's eg. fresh milk, cotton buds & cotton wool & toiletries.

Lovely self catering apartment. Very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Complimentary tea, coffee etc + cleaning products. A few minutes walk from the town centre, good restaurants and the Abbey Gardens.

Location was wonderful. Slap bang opposite the Cathedral. We liked the very comfortable bed, having a washing machine. It was extremely well equipped although coffee pot/ tea pot or large jug would be a bonus.
