Really enjoyable stay in a comfortable apartment.

The location was great for us, easy walking into town and the Abbey Gardens. Comfortable sofa well equipped kitchen , great bedrooms and bathrooms.

Traffic noise, but only to be expected on a road next to the Cathedral and one of the entry roads into the centre of the town. Was not a real problem for us but might be for some.

Gracious historical living in the heart of Bury St. Edmunds

This is an absolutely beautiful apartment! Huge living room/diner, very well equipped kitchen, and having a washing machine is so wonderful when you stay for 10 days. Location is ideal, with pretty much everything you've ever wanted to see in Bury St. Edmunds right outside your doorstep. Gracious bedrooms, two well-done bathrooms, VERY comfortable beds and bedding. I would like to LIVE in this apartment!

As with most places in the UK, the steep stairs (outside and inside) are an issue with big suitcases. Also good to let visitors know that you can only be dropped off on the end of the lane to get said huge suitcases down a cobbled/tiled lane.

Overall the stay was great and we loved looking out at the Cathedral.

We were warned but naturally when you stay next to a Cathedral the bells are likely to be rung but 3 hours nonstop practice was heavy going. We should’ve left the apartment for dinner. The music from the Beer and Cider Fest on top of the bells was unfortunate. The street noise is also loud.

Very central location, less than five minutes walk from shops and restaurants. Beautiful views of the cathedral from flat with easy access to cathedral and gardens.

Noise from busy road was noticeably early mornings in front bedroom Elderly friends struggled a little with the stairs

The location was excellent. Parking can be difficult in town centre. It's right on the street so quite noisy with windows open. The noise was fine to deal with given the perfect location and having an amazing view of the cathedral from the living room and bedroom. Apartment was clean and comfortable.

Excellent place to stay, fab apartment, fab location.

We stayed at Apartment 4. The apartment is fabulous, beautifully decorated and furnished, it is very spacious, spotlessly clean, and the kitchen is very well equipped. The location is also excellent, 2 mins walk to the town centre, and opposite the Cathedral and park. There is no parking but Joanne sent several options of where to park and costs. She also provided step by step instructions on access to the apartment. Nothing was too much trouble. Would most definitely stay again.

loved the position , ease of access to town, to the cathedral, to Abbey Gardens etc well stocked apartment. everything had been thought about, from washing liquid for the washing machine, to spare toilet rolls, makeup cleaning pads, cotton buds, etc I can’t think of anything we needed that wasn’t there! the apartment was beautifully decorated and clean. any small issue, like difficulty with the tv , as dealt with immediately.

no parking. my husband found the stairs quite a challenge sofa not that comfortable….back too low! amazed how much traffic goes along Angel Hill

Such a beautiful space in an excellent location. Having a washing machine helped with having two kids with me. Hosts were kind and helpful at all times.
