The location was handy for shops and public transport. The décor was very stylish.

The bed was the main thing. It appeared to be missing a mattress to fit on top of the existing one, which made it difficult to get in and out. My husband found it impossible and was forced to sleep in the single bed in the other room. I managed to perform the necessary gymnastics required to get over the cot-like sides but my pillow kept escaping through the enormous gap underneath the headboard. The steep and uneven staircase is to be expected in an old property but it would be less dangerous if there was a handrail at the top end. Lastly, being on a busy main road at a five-way junction makes it extremely noisy.
