Unique Artsy Home on the Penzance Promenade

Great location to be based to visit lands end and the various monuments around Penzance area. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Plenty of parking near by. The property has many amenities including a fairly well stocked kitchen, dining area and spacious shower.

Due to the age of the property the flooring is uneven in some sections, not too much of an issue but a bit disorienting when going to the loo in the middle of the night! Seagulls can be loud at night as the property is on the promenade.

This is a very individual property, not your average holiday let. If you're a lover of mid-century furniture, abstract art and like a place which is funky and a bit different, this is for you. Its position is excellent, with sea views to the front and within walkable distance of everything Penzance has to offer. It's also very spacious for a property which only sleeps three. It's an old house and still a family home, so has more personal touches than you normally find.

The furniture, although interesting, isn't terribly comfortable. The sofa at the TV end of the lounge is a two seater, there is no-where to lounge in the lounge! Also the back yard and the front gate both need attention. There are a few little things, like no reading light in the second bedroom and lino rather than carpet on the floor which make it rather austere. There could be a wider choice of bedding too, a winter duvet in summer was too hot, no sheets available (or that we could find) as an alternative.
