Spacious, seaside, Victorian home "Bay View Terrace", Penzance

Perfect location and great hosts.

The house was equipped with everything we needed and more for our holiday. It was wonderful to arrive to fresh scones and everything we needed for breakfast in the morning. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable with plenty of information provided for everything you could want to do in the area. The hosts provided lots of communication in advance including very detailed information about restaurants and local attractions. The hosts provided a warm welcome and checked in via message to see that we were okay during our stay. It’s a short walk to both penzance high street and Newlyn and just across the road from the shore. The well equipped laundry was very handy.

Natalie is a very attentive, friendly, and lovely host. We received a warm welcome with scones waiting for us on the table. The kitchen is fully equipped and even comes with basic food items like oil, sugar, salt, and spices. There was also a bottle of wine in the fridge, fresh bread, clotted cream, jams, and so much more — it was super thoughtful. A washing machine, dryer, ironing board, and iron are available. For families with children, there is even a child's high chair at the table, various games, and a Bluetooth speaker for connecting to the radio — both on the ground floor in the living room and upstairs in the bedroom. The bathroom is excellent, with a window and plenty of towels, including beach towels if the weather permits. The location is also very good — you can park on the street, and with a bit of luck right in front of the house. Lidl is within walking distance.

Beautifully presented home with quality inclusions. Everything you could need and quite a few kitchen “goodies” provided as a nice touch. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Natalie was an extremely communicative host with lots of contact and helpful information provided. Short walk into Penzance or Newlyn along the Promenade. Very pleasant stay.
