Great location

A work in progress. Paint is peeling off walls, mattresses are not comfortable at all, very very hot as upstairs windows hardly open. There was a bucket of dirty water in the hall when we arrived and it hadn’t been hoovered downstairs in the bedrooms. There were long hairs on the bed sheets. Has the potential to be great as the location and view are fantastic

Great location. Well equipped kitchen. It had everything you really need. Beautiful, spacious upstairs living/kitchen area Comfy and airy with amazing views across the bay. Pool and beach literally across the road. Definitely will return on our next visit to Penzance and would recommend.

Only two towels between 4 adults :( No where to put clothes (hang or put away in drawers) in en-suit bedroom. The property was in need of a little attention to tired looking decor. However did not spoil our stay for one night. :) Incorrect, unclear directions for finding the actual accommodation. Marked as 'no.1' rather than 'Bayview' All sorted very quickly though once we contacted the owner.

Parkeren inn de sttaat was niet gratis en het genoemde zwembad was het openbare zwembad van Penzance, £7 per dag. Het appartement stond in de steigers dus ons uitzicht was verre van optimaal. Parkeer niet langs de weg met een gele streep, je krijgt meteen een boete.

The Location of this property is very good

The photos provided on Booking.Com are very misleading, the property is very poorly maintained and in dire need of some maintenance! Cleanliness is also poor! Owner messaged beforehand to apologise for stained carpets left by former guests and that they couldn’t get them cleaned in time for our arrival ( fair ) however plaster is peeling from walls, sparse furnishings , 2 tiny mirrors, no bathroom bins, cupboard doors hanging off, 1 tea towel provided , carpets not hoovered, dishwasher full, walls marked, windows absolutely filthy so much that they obscured view and are very cracked and do not look safe , fridge also dirty! Next to a very noisy Pub which may bother some and cooking smells and live music will intrude! Owner asked for a £100 damage deposit on top of our £645 stay for 3 nights and extra for parking £40! Deposit refunded same day of departure to be fair and I left the place cleaner than I found it ! Owner communicated very well also and I understand that this is a business but overpriced, poorly maintained and furnished , but very good location Booking.com only allow 4 photos of the property to be uploaded but read reviews and if location is what you are after then this is ideal, if you want cleanliness and value for money than this does not cut the mustard
