Beautiful, cosy cottage close to the centre of Penzance.

Cosy, beautifully decorated and furnished, great position, lots to do and see on the doorstep.

Parking was a bit of a faff, but cheap long stay car park was a 3 min walk away.

Phoebe was really friendly and helpful. The location was very close to the centre of Penzance and our dog was welcomed.

Had to park a small distance away, but we knew that beforehand and it was no problem.

Toilet/bathroom is downstairs, no parking and there’s no tv, but none of the above bothered us and we loved it. Very nicely decorated and in a great location. Found free parking on a nearby street.

Amazing! Do stay here and you will love it 😍

This is an adorable place to stay. We stayed 3 nights and loved it. It’s super central close to the high street where you can find cafes, independent shops etc as well as a short walk from the station. The kitchen was well equipped, nice big fridge and freezer too. The host left us some milk which was super handy for the coffe the next morning. We were also able to leave your luggage before check in so that’s a bonus. Shower worked perfectly fine, lots of hot water after and good pressure. Flat was clean

There are some stairs which connect the bedrooms on the top floor to the rest of the flat on the ground floor which were not an issue for us but might be if you have mobility impairments or perhaps heavy luggage.

A wonderful stay, will recommend cottage to friends.

The property was lovely, very cosy and central, and had everything needed.

The double bed mattress was not very comfortable, sorry.

Tolerable but not what we expected

It was clean

Location up a narrow alley, hard to find and nowhere to park car. Very narrow steep stairs to bedrooms so had to leave luggage in lounge. Unsuitable for anyone elderly or physically impaired. Not a cottage at all. Just an old townhouse. No floor coverings anywhere just boards. Toilet immediately off kitchen.

Expensive...we ended up in a local hotel for 2 of the 3 nights

Location central but didn't mention it was at the top of a very steep hill that one member couldn't manage, and also the stairs in the property very steep and high, again difficult to get up and down especially with the bathroom at the bottom of the stairs. Not enough plates or glasses to set a table for 3 let alone 4 and those that were there are chipped at cracked. To be fair. the location was a surprise and it is a centuries old cottage but I didn;t ask the right questions as this was the first time we had used this method. It was partly my mistake.

Perfect stay, perfect location, perfect host.

Perfectly located only round the corner from the high streets. Very quiet street and friendly neighbours. Property is well cared for and furnished to a very high standard. Full of personality and character. Very homely. Host Phoebe was brilliant, answered all our questions and supported us throughout.

the property was dirty, no microwave no television, old fridge, garden was unkept, weeds and had dried dog poo on grass, the stairs with no banister is actually illegal

Exceptional

The hosts were responsive, friendly, and extremely accommodating. The cottage itself is cosy but well-furnished and was absolutely spotless when we arrived. The location was easy walking distance from everything we wanted to do in Penzance.

The stairs up to the bedrooms are a bit steep, which can be difficult when walking down them bleary-eyed.

Characterful cottage, clean and tidy and with all the space and facilities we required

Prompt and helpful remote communication from host, including noting an issue with the lock. This was a characterful cottage which was well-cleaned prior to our arrival and had all the space and facilities we required. It was in a quiet area and in easy walking distance of the centre and seafront of Penzance. Interesting selection of books and useful tourist information.

We did have an issue with the lock being slightly damaged which made it difficult to open the door on several occasions. This was reported and I imagine now resolved. The products used for cleaning and laundry prior to arrival could perhaps have a gentler fragrance as the scent was quite strong for the first night - again, something easy to remedy.

The bathroom is located next to the kitchen; very small and very awkward (the door from the kitchen is quite transparent. No hand rail on the stairs to the bedrooms requires care to navigate and might be daunting for elderly guests.

very quaint little cottage, nice modern kitchen with everything needed. modern bathroom but a little small for larger people. spotlessly clean. Owner was lovely and easy to contact. I have to put the negatives in for other people maybe looking to book and not being upset when they arrive.

Stairs were dangerous especially for elderly people and children no hand rail either. beds were very uncomfortable and mattress kept slipping off the single beds and very noisy when turning over. Noise from downstairs was like you were all in the same room due to upstairs floor boards being ceiling in lounge and light also came through. not suitable for disabled people at all due to steps outside, stairs and no parking close. its on a dead end street which is narrow and there was no parking. I had to park 10 mins walk away each day which became difficult with shopping etc and Im a fit 53 year old woman.

Very, very cozy cottage in a good central location. The host, Phoebe was exceptional! So nice and accommodating.

One of the smaller beds felt a bit crooked or broken in some way but was fine for a shorter stay. A tv would also have been nice since it rained quite a bit during our visit.

The cottage was all we needed for our one night stay. Restaurants and takeaways nearby, well equipped kitchen, lovely shower. Parked the car in a nearby car park (free overnight) and paid with an app for the following morning.

The location is very close to the town. We really enjoyed our stay there. very minimalistic! It seems it's recently refurbished as well. The communication with the host was excellent.

We didn't have an issue with Parking, but if it's the first time visiting or in the evening it could be tricky to find the parking.

Great cottage, super location and good communication.

Quiet location while close to town center, cinema etc. cheap overnight parking very close. Overall a very nice cottage, well presented, very clean and well maintained, furnished well for the period style, new excellent bathroom/kitchen. Good communication from owners. Double bed very comfortable.

Overall very lovely, but here are a few of the niggles we had. If you are planning on staying here with children (we weren’t so not an issue for us) be aware that the stairs have an open side, and there are exposed pipes in the living room which get hot. Also be aware of no TV. Twin beds were not particularly comfortable for an adult as mattress was very thin and slid off the bed frame during the night. Lack of storage in the twin room and no bedside tables for charging etc. (we moved one from the double room). Walls were also very thin making noise a bit bothersome (also may be more of an issue if staying with children - all movement and conversations downstairs would be heard in children’s room).
