About this house rental
Although we are head over heels for our place in Penzance, and as much as I would love to entice you to stay, we have had some particular people that do not read descriptions and then complain or leave negative reviews, so here is everything you need to know. I would like to make you aware of some things you can expect from the property. PLEASE READ before booking, no we do not have extra arm chairs, no we do not have blackout blinds upstairs as stated in photos, no you can't bring 10 dogs for free, yes we have a ring door bell and a very very very beautiful house for you to stay in!
One of the rooms has a small en suite bathroom in the room listed as bathroom 2. It has a shower, toilet, sink. Very cosy but has all the necessities.
Second room is up stairs, where there is a bathroom right next door with a bath. It's light and warm.
Not blackout blids.
When it’s sunny, the property gets all the lights and it’s super warm. Please be aware that photos have been taken during our sunny days and the property may appear darker during a rainy day, however, we will do our best to make you feel cosy and at home ☺️.
The property is also on a little hill, so consider this when booking. It's completely walkable, however if you have any mobility issues, health etc it's something to consider. Train station is down the hill short walk away, however, it is up the hill from the station itself.
The property is very much what you see is what you get, no caveats, we tried to take photos that are representative. Please be aware that we have previously lived / is being lived in, it's my home. It's not a newly renovated property. I do make changes when I am home, there may be a different colour scheme with throws and bedding, artwork, the odd new shelf etc. I will also mention some glue stains in the bath that do not come off as a result of tiling and the only way to get rid of them is to replace the bath. Some fixtures are missing, but does not impact functionality of the property.
There are no extra furnishings, like armchairs and seating. The house is a family home so you may see some wear, as well as natural guest damage that happens over time like paint clippings on corners due to luggage etc.
If anything mentioned in the paragraph sounds like it may bother, you please drop me a message and I can talk you through the way the property looks currently etc.
The parking space may appear small, we personally park vans and large cars, but that depends on what you're comfortable with, you may only be able to open one side of the door. It never bothered us. As you will see it's hard to get onsite parking in Penzance, so it really is a useful bit of space to get it private on the property. There is also street free parking. Happy to provide a photo of my Vauxhall Astra parked and space it takes as reference!
If you’d like to use the washing machine, please let me know ahead of time, I can make those arrangements for 7+ night longer stays. We use that space for storage so we will need notice if you'd like to use it.
We try and accommodate your needs as much as possible but please refer to photos, ask questions if you need to, but don’t leave review that do not match the descriptions and photos.
