17 at the Bell Tower

Fantastic location. Clean throughout. Nicely furnished with comfortable beds.

Location was very central, easy to work to main attractions. Very clean and extremely well equipped. Instructions for appliances appreciated. Maps and information also appreciated.

First class accommodation. Everything was excellent. The apartment was well-appointed with stylish decor, scrupulously clean and in a fantastic location. The balcony outside was great, with a view of the river. For those familiar with Inverness, the location was just by the footbridge at the river. For those unfamiliar, rest assured the location is perfect - a lovely (very quiet) location, yet at the centre of everything. Fabulous eateries a short walk away, a local supermarket, with shopping (centre) just across the bridge. We only stayed 2 nights and wished it had been longer. Everything is within easy reach - the Tesco is a 5 min walk for all your self-catering needs. We had a Chinese take-away our first night (3 in very close proximity) and our second night, we ate at the superb Waterfront (child friendly with an excellent children's menu). Be sure to book though, as they were fully booked on a Wednesday night. There is also a seafood restaurant literally on the doorstep, but as we were with our granddaughter, we opted for the Waterfront, but will definitely visit the River House for future stays. Parking was easy - we managed to get a space at the accommodation both days, but the hosts provide a parking permit for close on-street parking. The hosts really have thought of everything - a L'or coffee (pod) machine with plenty pods supplied and a filter coffee machine (with filter inserts); shortbread, sugar and milk provided and a little packet of Easter Treats for my Granddaughter which was a lovely touch! There is a dishwasher as well as a washing machine. Heating and hot water were great - with an easy thermostat for instant heat and hot water was instant too. Full bathroom as well as a great en-suite with shower. If visiting with children, be sure to visit Whin Park (you'll need a car) - such a great play area in a lovely setting with boating pond.
