Academy St Apartments - Inverness

Amazing…Period! Great space and location in Inverness. And, MacGregor’s next door is the icing on the cake. Only mild criticism is the dual door handle system if you’re holding a cup of coffee or tea, so champagne issue.

Lovely, spacious and modern, very clean

All good

The location was very central to walking around. The apartment itself was very cute, clean and had all of the necessities.

One of the only things that I believe would’ve made things a little easier is explaining where the apartment is actually located. It was not obvious as the door sits in the middle of McGregor‘s pub. That should be explained a little more thoroughly. Once you’re in, it’s easier.

The property was clean, with modern kitchen & bathroom & decent, hot shower. Conveniently located to central Inverness.

We were disappointed that the accommodation didn’t quite meet our needs. The photos showed an armchair which wasn’t there, and as we used the sofa as a bed, there was nowhere comfortable for the third person to sit in the evening. We had planned to spend some evenings relaxing in the apartment, but one of us had to sit at the dining table instead. There was also considerable street noise from traffic intersection and the pub directly below. With the window closed the room became quite stuffy, but opening it made the noise difficult to tolerate. Overall, these issues made our stay less comfortable than we had anticipated.
