We enjoyed our stay at Clava Cottage.

Comfortable and nicely located near the Ness River, close to the city center. It was a 15 minute walk to the bus and train stations. An Aldi nearby was helpful and the cottage had been stocked with several essentials which was much appreciated.

Nice location for a short stop, but it could need a bit of investment

The location was good, with free guest parking and only a short walk to the city center.

The house was a bit old, the windows did not avoid any noises or cold to enter the house. The beds were small and not comfortable. Thy should be replaced. The bathroom was quite ok, except that the showerhead has a serious leak on the side, so that a big part of the water projects onto the wall instead of you

Lovely cottage

Cozy cottage in a very central location close to town centre, the river and a supermarket. Good sized bedrooms (we were 5 adults). Gregor is an excellent host and gave us some recommendations of beautiful places nearby.

Enjoyed our stay

The location is excellent for walking along the riverside into Inverness with its many facilities. I was initially concerned about the availability of parking in the street but it did not prove to a problem at the time of our visit (July) as the owner provides a parking permit and there was always space. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. The kitchen is small but has everything you need for a short stay. The welcome pack provided was appreciated and a supermarket is only a short walk away. The outside sitting area was welcome.

The upstairs toilet is small with no shower. It's WC is of the macerator type and failed to flush adequately on its first use by my adult son. He assured me he put nothing down it that should have caused a problem. I accept that these things can happen on a holiday property but was disappointed that it could not be fixed during the duration of our 3 day stay. As a result we were limited to the use of the downstairs facility. Not ideal when you have two children with you.

This cottage was located perfectly in Inverness. Quiet but close to everything. The host was excellent. Would definitely stay there again!

Parfait !

Tout était très bien. Un logement magnifique et à la hauteur de ce qui est annoncé. Idéal pour 6/personnes. Bien situé, très bien équipé et le propriétaire Gregor est hyper sympathique. Il a eu la générosité de nous raccompagner en voiture à la gare. Les Écossais sont généreux et attentifs. Si nous revenons à Inverness, nous y retournerons. Merci Gregor.
