Room rental without services

Just the hose is clean

1) The mattress has a foul and unpleasant smell. 2)The room is next to the Boiler, and the noise is very loud; I couldn't sleep. 3) There is no breakfast in the morning. Most things are open and have been used by others, so we cannot eat anything that seems edible.

Didn't even stay as I couldn't even get in because of a KeySafe Combination issue for the key.

Nothing to say positive as there was a problem with the Key Safe with the provided code not working and this meant I couldn't even get into the property to review things I liked.

I couldn't even enter the property, I've never been refused accommodation before. Really infuriated that there was no plan B for issues with the Key Safe or accessing a key to open the property. The company is based in London and means they couldn't even be local to drive up and bring up a spare key.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

It was horrific, it felt and looked like a drug den. We couldn't complete our stay due to the keys been ripped out of the key safe and the host couldn't check us in. I try to give local businesses a chance but avoid this one at all costs. We were left waiting for over an hour and a half trying to check in before Booking.com cancelled our booking.

I think it could be done better. I sort of like the house.

The entrance would do with more lighting as it was quite hard to open the key safe in the dark. Building not user friendly.

The house is quite clean, but the stairs are really narrow. We were surprised there were no hangers in the wardrobe (Maybe previous guests stole them?). The bed is a large single bed, not a double as advertised. The spring mattress belong to a museum. And my poor neck hasn't recovered from the two nights I spent there. It would be nice if decent pillows could be provided as what was there was shocking to say the list. Breakfast was just cornflakes and milk. It took two days to find sugar as it was in a coffee jar. The roll of bread was stale as it was several days old.

Basic but fantastic for cost efficiency / amenities - would stay again...

Bed was very comfortable - main reason for stay & review is the sleep quality... Bed nice and firm good comfort level. Bed made not pressed and multiple pillows for comfort. Very useful for me as a disabled user. Check in was very straight forward - self check in details emailed with code for room key. Property very straight forward and notes where needed. Breakfast was self service and basic but well thought out for convenience. Excellent kitchen facilities - all mod cons. Noise during sleep - even though city based and fairly dense urban setting was actually very quiet.

Room was damaged prior to visit. Company aware so no issue over not being responsible. Noise level of basement room = when front door and guests entering & leaving filtered easily into room. But guests all very quiet and excellent otherwise on hardly a single disturbance...

Lovely clean and spacious room.

Communication from owner was poor. I requested early check in a few days before via Booking.com but ended up having to call the morning of the stay. This meant that our room wasn’t ready on arrival.

Didn’t stay because of the dirty bed.

Nothing.

We couldn’t stay as the bed hadn’t been changed, it had clearly been ‘used’ and the host blamed the cleaners. I didn’t receive all of my money back - I visit Leeds every 3 weeks or so, and would never go back.
