Benview Apartment

I liked the location as it was close to Ben Nevis and we were staying in Fort William to allow us to climb Ben Nevis. The property was spacious and well equipped.

The outside area was a bit grubby. The floor boards were noisy, as were the pipes after flushing the toilet. There were some cobwebs in the corner of the sitting room also.

The location is good enough if you have a vehicule The view on the dining room side is pretty nice and quiet Refurbished flat, fully equipped with everything we needed

I found it quite difficult at first to locate the flat and given the fact there is barely any network around it was difficult to be able to reach support for help (they were able to help once I found some mobile network) The building itself is quite run down so that can put you off at first but the main issue was the fact the flat is right above a convenient store which is quite busy from early morning until late evening so the bedrooms side of the flat was not the most quiet

Location is good for people interested in Ben Nevis or surrounds and have a vehicle, but a little difficult if, like our group, you have elderly people along with you and you arrive by train plus on foot or by taxi.. Tidy and nice to have the full kitchen with dishwasher.

No shampoo or soap or conditioner for the shower. Third and fourth beds are only bunk beds so challenging for anyone but children and smaller adults, but this was clear to see in photos so not a fault. It's not obvious from the listing how difficult it is to access the property. Elderly family member using a cane had difficulty with the many stairs, a large section of which had no handrail and there is a wobbly concrete step in an oddly configured access-way. Would be good if that could be shown in the listing.
