Cosy, clean and beautiful location

The property was in the perfect location to local hiking routes and shops. The kitchen was well equipped and all rooms were clean with the right information everywhere. There was even a box of toys for my baby to play with and a high chair was provided when asked, it was perfect for staying for the weekend whilst my husband took part in a race meaning we didn’t have to travel too far and had a nice cosy place to go back to afterwards and enjoy the scenery.

Very disappointing

Location was convenient.

I wish I'd read some of the reviews more closely before booking. The house was unclean, bedding was ancient, lumpy and threadbare, "hand" towels were more like face cloths, there was only one tea towel, and we had to buy more loo paper. It felt as though everything was done as cheaply and meanly as possible. I notice the owner always refutes any criticism but I've stayed in numerous holiday lets and this was by far the poorest I've ever been in. Shame.

Loved it, great base to climb Ben Nevis

Loved the pictures and maps on the walls. Liked the drying cupboard was very handy. Great base to climb Ben Nevis. We drove a Tesla and was great to have a super charger nearby.

This little gem is tucked away is a nice quiet street in a busy little town. In the morningyou have a view of a highland

Very well appointed with heating in each room, washing machine, dishwasher and a dehumidifying cupboard to dry the clothes. Could view the shunting of the Jacobite train from the railway foot bridge near the property. Very helpful host.

Check-In und Check-Out waren unkompliziert, wir konnten problemlos Kochen und insbesondere der Blick aus dem Single-Bedroom war toll. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super.

Der Schlüsselkasten ist recht schwerfällig und der Trockenschrank hat zumindest bei meinem Versuch nicht wirklich funktioniert. Dies waren aber beides keine schweriegenden Probleme. Zudem ist das Haus recht hellhörig und das Heizsystem ist etwas kompliziert.

Ruhiger Kurzurlaub in herrlicher Umgebung

Ausreichend Platz für 6 Gäste. Gut ausgestattete Küche. Einen wunderbaren Blick in die Natur - im Garten auf die Heidelandschaft und aus der Haustür auf den Ben Nevis. Einkaufsläden über Brücke+Fußweg sehr schnell zu erreichen.

Circa 20-25 Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof erreichbar. Das sollte man bei einer Reise mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln einberechnen. Für 6 Gäste lediglich 1 Badezimmer, da war etwas Absprache notwendig, aber das haben wir gut geregelt bekommen. Für den 6. Gast ist eine Ausziehcouch vorhanden, welche selbst aufgebaut werden muss. Wenn man den Dreh raus hat, auch das kein Problem.
