A wonderful stay, close to city center, perfectly located and exceptionally well looked after.

The property was exceptionally clean and spacious. The second-floor windows overlooking the sky were a wonderful addition. The owner truly went above and beyond, providing welcome goodies and all the essential items needed for a comfortable stay.

Will definitely go back

When you first drive in, the property may look a bit run down from the outside, but don’t let that fool you—the moment you step inside, everything changes. The house is absolutely beautiful, spacious, and incredibly well maintained. Cleanliness is truly top-notch, and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into making the stay comfortable for every type of guest. Anything you might need is already there: multiple TVs, plenty of kitchen utensils, towels, and even a selection of cookbooks in the kitchen. The attention to detail is impressive and really adds to the home-away-from-home feeling. The rooms are large, inviting, and offer stunning views. In fact, the view from the house is breathtaking—one of those sights you can enjoy for hours. We only stayed a few days this time, but we’re already planning to return so we can enjoy the experience fully. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped, and scenic self-catering stay.

Perfect place to stay for exploring the area, would definitely stay again

Quiet location close to town and beautiful view of the loch. Well equipped kitchen. Everything in the apartment very new and clean. Comfortable beds, lots of storage in the bedrooms. Lovely toiletries in the bathrooms. Welcome-pack of locally sourced goodies was a thoughtful touch. Lindsay recommended a local restaurant which was great. Everything was perfect!

Great time, cozy apartment, everything very good

We had a fantastic time as a family at Number 6. The apartment is a very cozy place, especially when the weather isn't so good. It's clean, well-maintained and there's plenty of space. Everything you need in Fort William is within walking distance and parking is easy. The host, Lindsay, is very helpful, responds quickly to all questions, and gave us a very warm welcome (cheers). Number 6 is the ideal starting point for many activities around Fort William.

Superb apartment location - could not be better for exploring Fort William and hiking Ben Nevis. Lovely little welcome pack and note. A short walk down the hill into town. Parking wasn't a problem for 2 cars. Beautiful views of the loch and mountains from the living room. Thoughtful kitchen and other essentials provided such as laundry detergent, coffee and milk. Host was great at communicating and very responsive. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and your kindness in posting an item left behind : )

It would be helpful to have instructions on how to work the bedroom window hinges when trying to close. Double bed on first floor could do with a mattress topper. Bedside tables and lights on both sides of bed would be useful. We were there when it was unusually hot - having top sheets available as well as duvets (should the weather ever get as hot again!) would be good.

Lovely find

Just returned from our stay at Number 6. Excellent communication from host, including thoughtful note and gift basket on arrival. After 7 hour drive, this was really appreciated. Throughout the apartment, every detail has been thought of, from layout to torches 🔦. Nice toiletries, hairdryers, and even filter coffee, which was unexpected for self catering. It's really clean and fresh. Comfortable beds. Location was good with only a few minutes walk into town. Excellent views of loch.

The flat had a high standard, with little extras left for us,, the outside where we had to park was unexpected and the flat is part of a four in a block but when you go into the flat you are hit with a WOW factor. The rooms and finishings were done to a high standard, we loved it👍👍

Every little detail was thought about making the apartment so relaxing and comfortable. It was spacious and so comfortable. everything was easy to use, and all worked. was at the highest standard possible and will definitely be recommending to friends to use. Nice and clean and very great flat

The flat was wonderful, we have enough place, very nice and clean rooms and bathrooms, the kitchen and living room was on the highest level and we got goodies and fresh eggs for breakfast from the renter, all was perfect.
