Enjoyable stay at Springwell cottage, a great base for exploring Fort William and beyond.

The property is in a very good location, walkable to the town and plenty of nice walks towards Glen Nevis. There is a retaurant a few metres down the road also. Private parking was a bonus. Lyn was very helpful as I needed to change my dates last minute.

Everything. Location , level of fixtures & fittings, equipment, comfort, hosts were so friendly on arrival & available if we needed them . Everything was fabulous. It’s a short walk to town , handy for trips out either motoring or hiking & biking .

Springwell Cottage, the perfect place to saty

This delightful self contained cottage is a great location for exploring Fort William and the surrounding area. It is warm and comfortable and has everything you need for a great stay. The owners live next door and are very warm and friendly and welcomed us upon arrival, and showed us around the property. The cottage has everything you need for a great stay. You can easily walk into Fort William with its many shops, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. and there are many walks on your doorstep including easy access to the path to walk up Ben Nevis. All in all a great cottage to stay, highly recommended.

Well situated, very comfortable, clean, well equipped 3 bedroom self catering accommodation with great hosts. Peaceful and relaxing cottage, even though close to Fort William it didn't feel like we were in the thick of it and it's ideally situated on the road to the Ben Nevis Visitor Centre.

The stairs are very steep and narrow. The toilet seat needs adjustment as it slides around.

Friendly welcome. Exceptionally clean and tidy. The bedding smelled so fresh and was comfortable. Perfect location so close to everything that we didn’t have to drive anywhere during our stay. Planning to return.

Perfect - great side, great location, great hosts

Perfect size for a family of 4. Ideal location. Great hosts - although we didn’t need them when we were there, it was great to know they were just next door. Very welcoming on arrival and a great tip to visit a nearby waterfall! Cupboards were stocked with basics.

Very minor but the 3 girls (wife and two daughters) would’ve benefited from an additional mirror for hair and make up!

Lovely hosts, Lovely cottage, Lovely Location.

Location was fantastic for our purpose. Which was solely to climb Ben Nevis. The cottage was warm and cosy easy reach of supermarkets and the town centre especially as we had arrived by train. The cottage had all the facilities we needed. The cottage owners were lovely and welcoming.

If I had to comment on anything - bath sheets would have been better as bath towels are far too small even for my average size adult daughter. (probably could have asked for more and they would have popped some round if needed). Bath is very slippery at shower end (especially after 9 hrs of hiking and very very tired) don't know whether a shower mat could help. These are very minor and would not stop me staying here again it would just enhance it.

Beautiful little cottage, kitchen, living room, double bedroom and bathroom downstairs; twin & single rooms upstairs. 10-minute walk to town & station; frequent buses. Landlady (Lyn) and family absolutely lovely, informative and supportive. Well equipped, warm - outdoor seating & laundry drying area. Nothing to nor like! Large restaurant serving breakfast right next door.

Superb location for climbing Ben Nevis.The cottage was large enough for 5 people and was excellent value for money. It was kept exceptionally clean,a credit to the owners.Would definitely use again in the future.

Great cottage, full range of equipment we needed for self catering and the fireplace was an added value. Great stay!

We didn't know the single bedrooms are upstairs so we couldn't leave our 4 y.o. son there on his own as we were frightened he'd fall down the steep stairs at night. One of us had to sleep there with him.

A great little property close to the centre of Fort William with all mod cons needed for your stay.

The single bed was a bit creaky and it got really warm upstairs with the hot weather. Windows open was essential

Comfortable, practical, efficient, convenient and calm.

Excellent hosts, very clean and tidy, great location, all the facilities you would want, Would recommend this Cottage to anyone who is climbing Ben Nevis or generally visiting this part of Scotland. Five of us all adults stayed for four days and there was enough hot water, kitchen utensils, towels etc for a comfortable stay. Well done to the host Lynne
