Cosy and warm

We really enjoyed our stay in this bungalow. It was very comfortable and cosy. The living areas were spacious enough for four adults. We were there on a horribly cold and stormy night but the bungalow was lovely and warm , thanks to all the heaters, and it was nice to all relax on the large comfortable lounge and watch a movie. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner. It was a lovely accommodation in a quiet neighbourhood and we hope to return one day.

Comfortable short stay close to Fort William...

Quiet location away from traffic. Ample free parking. Everything we needed to cater for ourselves. We enjoyed watching the odd steam train pass close by !

Bedrooms were a little short on space but adequate for a brief stay. We spotted curtain twitchers as we arrived in our minibus, as it is a private residential area. (We thought that amusing!)

A clean, comfortable, and well-located stay with great hospitality – highly recommended!

The place was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It had everything we needed and was easy to access. The location is great — just 5 minutes by car or 20 minutes on foot from Fort William train station. Communication with the hosts was smooth and they were very helpful. We asked for a baby cot and it was provided. The property matched the photos and descriptions exactly. They kindly offered us a late check-out at 12:00 noon instead of 10:00 am, as our train was at 16:00. We really liked the place and would stay here again when we visit Fort William in the future, God willing.

Overall the stay at the property was good, just the heating situation let it down a lot

Property was lovely, very cosy, nicely decorated, well equipped, bedrooms decent size

Biggest thing for me was the heating was turned off at a certain time at night so couldn’t turn it back on, as I had my 10week old baby staying, I found this quite unacceptable, especially during the winter season, he was cold on going to bed so I had to make sure he was wrapped up well and he actually slept in the bed with me, I was quite annoyed with this.

Cold stay.

Location was good. Street parking was available and close. Would of been a much higher rating except we were cold for the whole stay.

It was -2’ when we stayed and heating is nearly non existent due to it always going off (owner has it on timers). Living room never got warm. Bedroom heating was better the 2nd night when we asked for heaters to be left on. They only left the bedroom on. Droughts coming from floor. Kitchen freezing. Shower rail is Luke warm and can’t dry a towel in the 2 hour timer. Shower hot water is warm but not hot. Tap water is very low pressure. Almost quicker to boil the kettle. Glass doors were dirty and small patch of mold on roof in shower.

Gewoon goed

Goede locatie op loopafstand van centrum en supermarkt. Van alle gemakken voorzien, genoeg ruimte, keuken en wasmachine alle faciliteiten binnen handbereik. Het was netjes en schoon.

Vond de buurt niet echt heel gezellig en ik miste een leuk tuintje. Verder lagen de bedden niet echt lekker en was het licht in de woonkamer heel wit en ongezellig.

Goede uitvalsbasis voor fort William en omgeving met ons gezin. Er ligt ook wat speelgoed en de tuin is erg zonnig (als de zon schijnt). De stoomtrein vonden de kinderen geweldig

Een beetje een muffe geur. We hebben de ramen veel Open gedaan en toen werd het beter. We hadden geluk met het weer!

Basisbenodigdheden waren aanwezig: zeep, shampoo, zout, vaatwasserzeep, peper enz.. Uitstekende douche.

Dichtbij treinrails, maar nauwelijks last van.
