Angsoka Villas Amed

We were amazed to find our own infinity pool, set at exactly the right temperature. The space on the patio was generous, with table & four chairs, two pool chaise longues, plus another sofa/chaise longue. The kitchen area and bathroom were both well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. The view is incredible, and two restaurants within walking distance made our stay perfect.

There is no microwave, but we didn't need it, anyway.

Die Unterkunft hält was die Bilder versprechen. Alles neu, alles sauber, toller Pool. Perfekt für ein paar Tage chillen. Rundherum gibt es genügend Möglichkeiten zum Essen. Das Legong, die Pizzeria, zwei Beach Bars, ein Warung. Frühstück kann man für 5 Euro in die Villa bestellen. Perfekt. Roller werden auch organisiert und auch sonstige Transportmöglichkeiten. Einfach das Personal fragen. Die sind mega lieb und immer ansprechbar. Auch wenn es nicht zentral in Amed ist, ist genügend zu Fuß erreichbar und mit dem Roller erreicht man auch zum Shoppen schnell die ersten Geschäfte. Für Ausflüge ins bergige Hinterland ideal.

Alles ist top. 👍🏻 Nur die etwas laute Straße muss man ausblenden. Das war mir allerdings für die 4 Tage egal.

The view is stunning and the 2 bed villa is very spacious. The wooden furniture and the finishings are of a high quality. The pool is a good size for floating and looking up at the sky/night sky. The air conditioning is quiet and only the odd sound of a noisy old scooter passing through...maybe we heard 3 in a whole day. Being able to wake up every morning and just see the uninterrupted expanse of water, with the small fishing vessels with their coloured sails bobbing out in the distance, like a non competitive regatta, was actually quite magical.

After a 2.5 hr scooter ride from Ubud with baggage and supplies (as I was cooking for 3 days), there was no one around to greet me or help me up the 63 very step stairs to our upper level villa. This was made worse by the surfacing of the road leading up to the villa, as it is very poorly surfaced with many potholes, and challenging to navigate from Jemuluk to Ibus. It was also very hot, so the lack of welcome staff to support was very much noticed. The shower screen is in the wrong place, i.e not next to the shower, so water does flow out onto the bathroom floor, but I was able to tell Ketut about this. Hopefully, he will act on the feedback. The sheets on the bed are poly cotton and not 100% cotton (and they were piling) so a little hot on the skin. I feel like this maybe nit picking because the overall stay at the villa was sensational.
