Quiet location - easy to travel to the wedding which was the purpose of staying. Spacious room with everything we needed. Parking available.

Not the most comfortable bed.

A lovely studio apartment in the middle of The Broads countryside. Very clean and spacious with everything you need. Big TV, a sofa, chairs, table. Tea and coffee facilities. There is an ancient woodland at the back of the cottage, great for walking your dog. There are two rooms above the garage, completely private, so you could bring a family.

We loved it. There are some stairs, so just be aware if you’re not very mobile.

We really enjoyed our stay at Squirrel View Cottage. The location is lovely, it's incredibly peaceful, and the garden is beautiful. The bedroom was very spacious, the bed was really comfortable, and we appreciated having tea and coffee available in the room. It's also dog-friendly, with a £10 charge per dog, which we thought was perfectly reasonable. The only downside was the Wi-Fi. Mobile signal was very poor, and although Wi-Fi is provided, it didn't work in our room (it may be better in the room closer to the main house). If you're on a working break and need a reliable connection, it's something to keep in mind. The only confusion we had was around breakfast. We'd seen lots of previous reviews praising the continental breakfast, but it turns out those were from the previous owners, who used to run it as a B&B. We hadn't noticed that breakfast was no longer offered when we booked, so we were expecting it on the first morning. The owners were friendly and said they could provide croissants and pastries for £10 per person on that occasion, but we decided to drive to the nearest village for a full English instead. A couple of small suggestions would be to provide some washing-up liquid and perhaps offer individual coffee sachets instead of a small tub of instant coffee. Overall, we loved the space, the quiet surroundings, and had a really relaxing stay.

Privacy, quiet location, great spaces

Nothing, just a couple suggestions as there's great potential for more facilities, the spaces definitely allow them: fridge in room, microwave/portable hob. And, it might have been possible but we didn't ask, a dedicated outdoor area.
