View, super friendly stuff

If you want a peaceful area, with an exceptional view on mount Agun and encourage a small local family business, no need to search further, this place has it all. The host is very friendly and helpful. He helped us to organize last minute activities. He is a great guide for Mount Batur sunrise trekking. We were worried that the location was too rural and as other reviews mentioned there are a lot of flies during the day (it is to be expected for the whole region), but overall we had a great experience.

Difficult to access the property by car, especially at night.

Super Gastgeber der sich um alles kümmert. Essen wird einem ans Zimmer gebracht. Der private Pool ist bis am Abend mit warmen Wasser gefüllt. Aussicht auf den See ist grandios. Die Unterkunft hat sich um einen Guide für die Wanderung auf den Vulkan Batung gekümmert. Wir wurden 3:40 am morgen abgeholt und sind in 1,5 h hochgewandert um den Sonnenaufgang zu sehen. Wahnsinnig schön wars.

Batungs Fliegenplage. Aber dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts. Dies ist dem Zwiebelanbau und dem vielen Dünger zu verdanken.

The flies and not being able to walk freely due to stray dogs but thats not Lakehills issue. It was a beautiful place
