There are nice hotsprings, my cabin even had a private one. The owner was friendly and drove me around and helped me get to the next location.
I didnt want to do the Batur hike because there are so many tourists and you need a guide so I hiked Abang which is higher, has a great view of Batur, Agung and the entire Caldera. You dont need a guide and I didnt see a singke other foreigner doing the hike.
the sliding door was a bit hard to close but wasnt really a problem

It was a wonderful stay. The service is excellent. Everyone is very friendly. The resort is located slightly above the lake rather than right on the shore, which is very pleasant because there are fewer flies there. There are two hot spring pools. It’s just a short walk to the village. I highly recommend it.

It was a bit hard to reach to the hotel by the motor bike due to the rocky path to the hotel, but you can make it anyway.
