Beautiful view and comfortable, clean room. Nice to have kettle with coffee and tea provided and a nice dinner was served on veranda. Alot of people comment about flies- but I did not find them very bothersome. The owner is such a nice guy wishing to please. Helped arranged trek up to Batur and a very nice driver Mr Saja dropped me down to the northcoast. This area is a stunning landscape and will plan to go back.to explore more.

Great rustic accommodation

Amazing views from the property. Spacious room. There's a nice area with a pool to hang out in and there's also other tables and chairs for variety. The owners are really nice and will sort any tours and transportation and they really looked after me and we're so kind when I fell ill.

Everything you need is available. People are amazing. They are so nice and helpful. Do not hesitate to stay here if you look for a place around mt Batur. Location is so convenient for going anywhere around. The lake and mountain view from the garden is amazing. Highly recommended!

The owner and all the staff are very accommodating and very responsive to all the needs of the guest. Eddie, An, Uda, Reza, Ujik are all friendly. They treat guest as family. The facility of the homestay is very clean and good value for money. I highly recommend this lodge.

Perfect spot to climb Mount Batur

Properties has a pool with nice view on the rice fields, the lake and Mount Batur. The staff organized a Mount Batur ascent for us with a great guide : karry. The price was good compare to some proposition we got (200k per person, we were 5) for a private guide.

No something we didnnt like really, but one night is enough to climb Mount Batur.

This is a basic but still comfortable place, I used the shared toilets and shower rooms, There was drinking water and an electric kettle. Good view of the farmland, lake and further edge of the caldera. The host and staff (1) are friendly and helpful. (2) did their best to entertain guests in the evening, when there was really nothing to do around the area.

No cooking facilities so all meals were bought / bought in. They are in the process of adding more rooms (= a bit dusty), but a couple of wooden hand rails could do with some repair.

Magical place in paradise

The place is out of this world. The view for the volcanos and the lake make it perfect to chill near the crystal clear pool. The rooms are super nice and clean and the staff welcomes you like family. Baan helped us with everything we need ti do and explained how to organize the volcano for an amazing package better than anywhere. Truly enjoyed our stay!!!

Best place to go hike batur mount

The host and his team were fantastic. Always on site, they drive us around town for free without make us feel like we disturb them. We also did the batur mount hike excursion with them and everything was included, and we added the hot springs and it was fantastic. Room was clean and breakfast was very good.

Bathrooms are not in the room, so just be sure you know that before booking but it’s not far and they’re very clean for outdoor toilets!

Baan was really nice! Helped us with everything and had an amazing vibe of the hotel. We also took a Mount batur sunrise hike with them and was awesome! Definitely recommend if you want a nice price/quality combination with amazing views of the lake and mountains!

Luis was really helpful organising both our guide and trip up the Volcano. He also organised our trip to the hot spring and even took us in his lamborghini ! You can't say better than that

The wifi was very intermittent in the room, no big deal for us but for our daughters !!

Good and scope for improvement.

Food was very good. Also, the laundry just in front of the hotel provided an excellent washing service. All the workers and the Manager were very supportive and helpful. Location surrounding is beautiful, if possible just go for a road walk/ride near the hotel.

The bathroom is smelly and the room was full of flies. Cleanliness should be given top priority.

Perfect for hiking mount Batur!

The location is great for hiking mount Batur. You get to the start of the trek in no time and you have views of the mount from the homestay pool. Wang is the coolest guy and arranges all the tour with detail explanation once you reach to the homestay, and they serve you a nice breakfast in the morning after doing the hike so you can rest.

The staff were really accommodating and friendly. The facilities were basic but very clean. It was also very close to Batur and the tours the property provide are very good.

The room was a bit small but it is just what you need for the trek and you can’t really expect much more from the rural area.

Amazing property with great view

Extremely welcoming and caring staff, the room was clean and spacious and the value for money was great. The views are also stunning, the place is locked between Mt Batur and Agung and you can spend hours watching the landscape I was amazed by how concerned everyone was to enjoy my stay and feel good.

Not that it bothered me, but I didn’t get the Bungalow room promoted in the first pictures, but another room in the back, which only had a shared toilet.

The room we had was quite small and basic, however for the price we can’t really complain as it did the job! Plus we were up so early for the hike it didn’t make much of a difference.

Nice stay to relax in Kintamani

View is awesome. You can have a spectacular view of the mountains. They arrange mount Batur trekking @250k IDR per person for the short trip. Mr Wang was an awesome host. They are always ready to provide you complimentary tea or coffee. Cookies are kept in the common area which you can have any time. There’s a good restaurant GOOD KARMA around 500m from the property.

Some rooms doesn’t have attached washrooms. In that case there are two common washrooms. I somehow got confused and ended up booking one of those rooms.

The view of Mt. Batur was beautiful from the front rooms. The host’s asst that spoke English was great but couldn’t answer touristy type questions from lack of training!

Where to start? It was a compilation of many things: undisclosed fly infestation, no hot water for beautiful tub (really?) power surges every night and village power out day of departure: so no shower with hot water, no water pressure, electricity outages (over usage/not safe), misinformation and unresponsive host, inconsistent breakfast (if you can call it that), nothing around walkable (cup of soup at front store); construction on property
