This property was located well being a stones throw from two very nice pub/restaurants being The Pickled Pheasant and Finchys. It’s also a short walk from Holmfirth which has plenty to offer. The property itself is very clean, cosy and has a great garden view. I was impressed with the additional items for dogs such as extra dog bowls and a dog towel. It was smaller than expected but still had plenty of room and we stayed with a Great Dane.

The setting, decoration was of a high standard.
Everything you needed for a good stay was there. Bed comfortable, nice towels provided.
The hot water wasn't very hot when having a shower, the blind in the bedroom could do with being longer, as there is a light outside this window, to help the bedroom be darker.
The lock on the door needs a little attention, a little stiff.
Understand the need for security lighting, but on going to sit on the decking, there is no way to turn this off, to enjoy the setting/stars further.

I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of this accommodation, it could not have been any better. The flat was equipped with everything you could possibly need and the Christmas tree was a real added bonus that my Grandson loved as this was our Father Christmas trip!
Sadly the weather was shocking but the flat was so comfortable, being inside didn't spoil things.
The bedding was excellent quality and the flat was lovely and warm.
The only thing i can think of that was a bit of an issue was the warmth of the water when showering. It was a bit strange as the tap in the kitchen had hot water but the shower never really got too hot. But it definitely did not spoil our stay as everything else was exceptional.
