2 Bed in Holmfirth oc-95230

The property was lovely and clean, well presented and had what was needed for a weekend away. Location was fabulous for us. We didn’t move the car once after we arrived. We walked everywhere.

There wasn’t anything really not to like! Feedback to maybe think of. A little welcome pack. This could either be milk/cakes/biscuits or a small toiletry hamper. Nothing huge or expensive just a small gesture. A little niggle of mine and it isn’t just here is a lot of places we stay, be it Airbnb, hotel, b&b. There is no place to sit and get ready (or even stand!) I’d love a table/shelf with good light and a mirror to place make-up toiletries, with electrical sockets close by for a hairdryer/appliance. Here there was a lot of space that could have accommodated a dressing table/station. Also in a bathroom a shelf for toothbrushes/paste etc by the hand basin instead of balancing them on the side. The same issue with a shelf for shampoo/conditioner & shower gel within a shower cubicle. At this property there was a lovely heated towel radiator but it was the other side of the en-suite so you couldn’t leave it on there whilst showering. If you did so you would have to get out, walk over dripping water across the whole room, if you didn’t want to do this (as I didn’t) there wasn’t a towel hook/ring by the shower to leave your towel for when you got out, so had to place it on the floor.

Convenient for what we wanted

Pub next door was noisy Friday and Saturday evenings. Nylon quilt cover on the bed was uncomfortable but that’s only my opinion

It was OK

The beds were far too small, you need bigger beds. They were far too small for adults

Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and parking. Parking is limited in the area so this was a godsend.
