It was perfectly located for everything we wanted to do. As well as this everything in the property was of such a high standard. It was incredibly comfortable and every little detail had been thought about even down to hot water bottles and all the cooking utensils which you could possibly need. The attention to detail and the care putting in by the hosts was fantastic. Without a doubt would come again.
The side outhouse for the dog as well was perfect and just made everything so much easier.
Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful old character house, with all mod cons, very comfortable, loads of big fluffy towels, everything you need was there. Even had a fire escape, provisions should there be a power cut. Lovely treats left for us. Couldn’t have asked for more.

The view! Stunningly beautiful and the area was very peaceful! Kitchen very well equipped. Welcome basket exceptional!
The lounge was very dark even on a bright sunny day and the en-suite was the tiniest ever experienced.

Wells Cottage is a beautifully appointed property boasting stunning views over Holmfirth.
The owners have thought of everything especially in terms of kitchen equipment.
The wood-burning stove was delightful to create a relaxing ambience in the lounge and the dining table was perfectly positioned to take in the views.
The beds were extremely comfortable.
The welcome hamper was so generous and of a high-quality and included delicious handmade local chocolates and special biscuits for our canine pals.
Having an outbuilding to clean down the dogs and boots, after enjoying the walks that are right on the doorstep, was brilliant.
Just perfect!
We loved it all.
