the house was excellent, location was perfect (a lovely 15-20 minute walk along the river into the city centre) and the property itself had everything we needed, lovely and clean and finished to a very high standard in terms of decorating and furnishing. we all agreed that we will rebook the next time we are visiting york. the host was extremely helpful in giving us extra time to return from the york 10k and get a shower before heading home

It is a beautiful house, the location is stunning - with peaceful riverside walks, 5min walk to a small Sainsburys, lovely walk into the city centre and train station. The house is well equipped and very cosy and comfortable.
Absolutly nothing to not like about it.

The property is located in a nice quiet residential area close to the centre. It is spacious and clean with lovely decorations. The host is friendly and helpful with prompt response.
The street is very narrow so might be a bit difficult for a big car to park.

The house was immaculate, clean throughout, complimentary towels. Walking distance to york. Free parking outside. Location was quiet until the night time.
The residents at number 12 woke everyone up at 2am shouting and making so much noise until after 3am. It is a terraced property but having travelled a long way I was after a good sleep. The location is so quiet. Was a shame the neighbours were not considerate to others.
