Georgian Residence - 4BR Modern Living, Sleeps 8!

Loved the location: a quiet residential street in the Georgian District walkable to plenty of Liverpool’s best spots (pub within a block, Cathedral+dining 5 min, city center 15-20 min, riverfront 30 min). Beatles history just blocks away! The house itself was an amazingly preserved 1820’s Georgian home with updated amenities, but plenty of historic charm. Huge windows, light filled rooms, very responsive updated heating, clean and private. With the included parking permit we were able to leave our car right outside and walk everywhere for two days! We felt very safe in the home and area (families, college students).

With a house this old, there are always going to be a few quirks and it will not feel like a sparkly new hotel but that’s part of the charm! For example, there are a LOT of stairs (kitchen on basement level, bed/bath two floors up!) and so the home would not be a great fit for those with mobility issues. There were also a few things that were a bit shappy because other guests hadn’t taken good care (broken table tennis balls, scratched up skillets), but overall we were out most of the time anyway!

This is an absolutely stunning Georgian townhouse that immediately feels warm and homely. Spread across four floors the property feels enormous and if anything seems even larger than the photos. The ping pong table is great, and the location could not be better. Cannot recommend this place enough!!

We loved this spacious old townhouse.The property was exactly as described. This is a great place to stay with a larger family or friends, very close to the UoL south campus. My sons loved the table tennis table 😊😊. We will definitely stay again.
