Good location but far from 'Deluxe'

Good location. Room was clean.

Advertised as a 'Deluxe' room, but it was far from it! The bed was really uncomfortable - it had a cheap mattress and pillows, which led to two poor night's sleep. Promoted free parking but should be clear that this is on-street.

Usually good.....

We like the location of this, and it's sister property, a few doors down. Have stayed in other rooms in both houses before and those were fine. Shared house Kitchen is clean, tidy and stocked to cook if you want. Parking is usually easy. Barely 200m is lovely food from the cafe called Bon Cafe and 3 little convenience shops all selling slightly different items. Easy to access house with code sent on day of arrival and room door key in a keylock box on wall beside room door.

Sadly, this one, room 6, at the top of the house, was strangely well below par compared to the other rooms we've had. Room door was hard to open. No bedtable lamps like in photo. Mattress was thin, could feel the springs and the springs were noisy as you moved. There was no mattress topper to help ease this. There were nitrous oxide canisters in the corner, no idea why or for what. There was a clock that wasn't working, simply irritating when just batteries are needed. Shower room had no radiator and was cold unless you left the door open. The toilet seat was too small and not fixed correctly and kept moving. Hubby tried to tighten it to no avail. Would definitely never have this room again.

I had the boiler in my room which was a little noisy but not enough to disturb. Bed mattress was a bit uncomfortable.

Really convenient, clean accommodation

The accommodation was easy to access, clean and welcoming with tea and coffee available in the room and shower essentials in the en suite. Pleasant decor with two small comfy chairs in addition to the bed, and useful to have a fridge in the room if you are staying longer. Sufficient hanging for unpacking and a decent basic shared kitchen and common area on the ground floor. Parking was straight forward on a nearby corner of land off the street. Great location for an easy walk into the city. Very little street noise considering the proximity to town.

The mattress is rather thin and 'springy'- not terribly comfortable. There was a WiFi code on the dresser which did not come up in searches. Not sure if it's out of date, but couldn't connect which was a hassle. Likewise, good TV, but beyond basic channels I failed to connect an app. The pendant light in the room was a bit dim, but there was more than enough street light to off-set it.(If you like sleeping in the dark you might want to bring an eye mask).

Price was cheap Room was clean. Communication and Instructions on how to access the property were clear & prompt.

Poor shower (uncontrollable temperature, running scalding hot and then freezing cold). We were in room 5 with a skylight in the room, directly above the bed. No blind on window so light came through. Location wasn’t as central as we’d hoped but it was only a 20 minute walk or a £6 cab ride away.

Good location good parking right outside there was space when we arrived comfortable stay good communication on how to access the property & key 🔑

The only gripe I have the water temperature was too hot couldn't have a shower only a hand wash in basin because of water being to hot for the skin they seemed no way of changing temperature of it other than that enjoy my stay

Simply red concert

Excellent facilities room spotless, warm and cosy, comfortable bed good location staff friendly and helpful . good value for the money free parking bus stop 50 yards away, for city centre, or about 20 minutes walk we enjoyed our stay here it was delightful, would recommend this place will definitely stay again when visiting Liverpool, but would book room on lower floor 😀 thanks 😆

We were in room 5 which wasn't an issue for me, but my wife suffers with her hips, so was a problem for her getting up and down the stairs,but my fault i should have checked this before booking

There’s a reason it’s cheap

Clean, easy access. Shower and facilities worked well

The bed has old springs in it making noises when you moved, the lamp cord didn’t even reach the plug. There’s a whopping gap around the door so the landing light floods the room even when closed. There was clearly some dodgy people next door dealing something and not abiding by the no smoking rules.

The location to downtown was great. Easy and close to the bus.

The space was clean and had what we needed.

The beds weren't the comfiest and there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling right next to the light fitting. Wasn't brilliant being dropped on whilst using the loo.

An OK stay, but not worth the money

The property was located walking distance from the city centre. The staff were friendly and communicative before and during our arrival. The bed was comfortable and the TV worked.

The location didn't feel very safe to be walking at night. There was nowhere to securely store luggage before or after check-in. The room was right off the communal area, which made it noisy. The entire property could use some upgrading - it was really grubby with lots of small flies crawling around. I didn't feel clean while there. There was no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so it was incredibly humid in the room for our entire visit, because we had several showers. Overall it was tolerable but not worth what we paid.

Ideal for short stays.

Self check-in was efficient, close to transport links for easy access around the city. Giant bed and great shower and bathroom. Tv was a great size and right height for comfort whilst watching lying down. Had tea and coffee available in the room.

Window wouldn't shut properly so was quite noisy with the sounds of the road, WiFi was not working at the property mattress was quite firm and would've liked one a little softer. Plug socket near bed wasn't working but a spare space on the extension lead for tv. Fridge in room was a little noisy in the night.
