In town for a few days

The location and communication were great. Facilities in the apartment were excellent. Clean towels and bedding provided. Toiletries also. WiFi was a useful addition. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable bed and very spacious apartment. Central heating was also welcome. I felt safe and secure there with lots of amenities nearby. There is a small car park opposite which was useful to have. It is centrally located and easy to access all main places of interest. Everything you need and a bit more

Some of the soft furnishings and decor could use an upgrade, as could the communal carpet.

Great location much preferred to Matthew Street and Good size apartment.

When we arrived we found a piece of smash glass in the living room, there was only 1 roll of toilet roll for 6 people over 2 nights and the windows on the front don’t keep any noise out at all so be prepared to not get any sleep.

Comfortable townhouse

Modern, clean and comfortable. Lovely spacious bedrooms. Great equipped kitchen. Loved the double shower room.

The accommodation is in a central location to all the nightlife. Unfortunately the night club adjacent to the accommodation played music loudly outside of the building, which is open until 6am. This disturbed sleep for some but didn't spoil our weekend.

We stayed in the Seel Street apartment, not being familiar with Liverpool, I don't think the communication saying we would hear some nightlife quite does the volume and disruption justice. It should have said unless you are comatose, you will not be able to sleep. 4 of us stayed in the front bedroom and you may as well have just been outside. With the nightclub open next door until 6am on Fridays and Saturdays we heard every single conversation, fight, car engine, bin being emptied, everything! If you are going out drinking when you're there you will be fine and the apartment is nice enough, but we all ended up sleeping with headphones in listening to podcasts full blast to try and drown the outside noise out. We agreed this could be fixed if the owners moved the layout of the apartment, put the living room at the front, and move the beds into the living room or put more beds downstairs where it is quieter and the rooms are huge so could definitely fit. Also it's a funny design in the bathroom where there are 2 showers in the one bathroom, but they do have frosted glass, just something to be aware of. My only other gripe is how often the apartment owners contact you. I must have been messaged 3 times a day, I'm trying to enjoy my break! This could have just been sent in 1 message. The apartment had everything we needed though, albeit there were some suspect stains on bedsheets and cushions hence the 3* review.

Along with the great central location there was also a lot of noise, nothing some earplugs couldn’t fix however could maybe provide earplugs or soundproofing to reduce the outside noise.

Disgustingly dirty Unhelpful staff Other than that my guests had a super time taking in beautiful Liverpool

The only thing about it was you’re in the middle of town so walkable everywhere

So 10 people over from Italy for my daughters 30th birthday Asked for early check in DECLINED but for £30 it was instantly ready!!! Let’s go for it No way to get in Phoned & phoned for nearly 20 minutes trying to get decent instructions to get in Code worked but front door wouldn’t open No chance of anyone coming around so do it yourself I’ll enclose video so you can see how it went We finally get in to a dirty filthy living room come bedrooms Sofa bed atrocious it collapsed in the middle Kitchen ok Bathroom ok separate toilet ok Downstairs bedrooms ok but dirty & dusty The linen had stains on them plus the duvet for sofa bed just about covered 1/2 the bed We actually bashed the pillows & cushions to get rid of dust 2 hand towels between 10 1 bath towel each which after 2 days I enquired for a change to which they replied “NOT OUR POLICY” the heating & hot water kept going off so we had to use the little electrical heaters I was so ashamed of this apartment for my guests that I offered them a meal in town I’ve never ever been treated so badly in Liverpool The last thing that broke the camels back were the instructions they sent me Load dishwasher & press to start throw rubbish away fold up nice & tidy towels sheets & put on table Turn heating off (what heating???) Never again host & stay

Excellent location close to everything. Lovely apartment plenty of room. Was provided with basic supplies of tea, coffee and sugar which was good. A few hiccups initially but very friendly, helpful staff. Always willing to help.

Very noisy at night. The apartment is not very soundproof. would suggest either stay out all night and join them or bring a good set of ear plugs. Would be too noisy for a family but grand for a couple of nights away with friends.

Pleasant

The property was perfect and central but it was very noisy . I know we were told it was known to back ground noise but that’s an understatement. It was very noisy and no one got any sleep . But for a hen weekend we could tolerate it , the place was lovely but very dirty . The place had to be hoovered upon on arrival due to thick dust it clearly hadn’t been freshly cleaned but overall it was a nice apartment , but be prepared for noise , ideal only for hens and stags .

Location was perfect being in the centre of the entertainment with local amenities within walking distance. The apartment was well equipped and very clean.

Parking is difficult and limited near the property being in the centre of town. You have to use private or metres street parking which can be difficult for those with mobility issues.

A Disaster

Location

This property was listed and we paid for 7adults. On arriving at the property we had to ring to get a code to get in. No one answered for 20mins. They then only told us in the phone they needed a £250 security deposit. Then we went into the property and realised there was only 1 bedroom with a double bed and 2 sofa beds for 7 work colleagues. When we rang they said they made a mistake and gave the bigger apartment downstairs to a different group by mistake and nothing could be done. It ruined the trip and some adults went and got rooms elsewhere. They didnt care.

I cannot stress enough how loud it is at night if you’re sleeping on the sofa beds. It does not quieten down til about 6:30am either. Is a shame because everything else about the apartment was really nice

Arrived to a cold property Doors are broken so they need slamming to be closed which is very disturbing in the middle of the night There were stains on the rug and mattress however, the biggest concern is the fact the apartment is advertised to have 3 bedrooms and sleep 10 people but it does neither! when I raised this with the apartment staff as well as booking.com I was totally dismissed and the actions suggested as an outcome of the complaint felt very dismissive and that I was ridiculed. I wouldn’t be returning back, that’s for sure! Also I am still waiting for my deposit to be returned. they were quick to demand it and take it but will take their sweet time returning it.

Great stay!

Great location - walking distance to loads of pubs/restaurants/clubs/train station. Apartment was really nice with great amenities. Decor was lovely. The place wasn’t in pristine condition ie could do with a little more cleaning/ paint etc, but it was as expected from hosting big groups of people. This wouldn’t put me off staying again. Hosts were really professional, informative and responsive.

I would say the apartment was perfect for 8 people. If you have 10 people, 2 need to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room which is the only seating space. As we were out most of the time this didn’t bother us. Although it would of had we planned to spend more time in the apartment.

Nightclub nextdoor

Nice double shower room

Situated next door to a night club, single glazed windows in main bedroom which overlooks the street where people come and go loudly all night long, leaving rubbish and broken glass in their wake. The wheelie bins are inside the property's hallway (presumably to stop party goers using them) and they smell. The TV only functions for streaming, not for watching live TV. The heating system is inadequate, it appears the owners are aware of this as they have provided electric heaters in each bedroom. The flat was dusty on arrival with signs it hadn't been cleaned properly (old face mask and tube of moisturiser in the bedroom).

The area is very noisy at night if there are only 2 or 4 of you sleep in the bedrooms downstairs as the bedroom upstairs is really noisy as the window is next to the footpath Also there is limited seating in the longe area
