Lovely open space with great amenities including an airfryer, intuitive central heating control, and plenty of streaming services. A very short drive to Matlock and was a great spot for the activities we wanted to get out to. Really happy with what was provided and would happily book again.
There was a constant humming noise that I found a little annoying while trying to sleep. I turned the heating off thinking it was that but it was something else that I couldn't figure out.

Lovely place to stay – great location and the house was really clean and tidy for us. Everything felt comfortable and welcoming, and it was a perfect base for exploring the Peaks.
The beds were a little on the firm side for us, and we were a bit surprised that the main bedroom only had a curtain separating it from the living space. Not a big issue, but worth noting.

Location and modern facilities were great
There was a constant hum which I'm assuming was the air con system? Not a problem during the day but it did affect my sleep at night. I know this is a personal thing as my Wife is normally far more sensitive to noises than I am and it didn't bother her at all, but the frequency did affect me.
